I ordered this exact hoodie in black for about the same price a couple years ago. It's well made and definitely heavy and warm. However, I could barely get it over my head because of the way it's sewn. I ended up not using it because of this and gave it to a homeless person.

Ultimate Heavyweight sounds good but not sure if its just the sales term. I wonder how they compare with their own reverse weave.

This is definitely thicker than the EcoSmart. This also is slightly bigger in size than EcoSmart (I have both and use M size). This one feels true cotton but the EcoSmart has a different feel. If you simply want to wear something for style or something, use EcoSmart but for true protection against wind and cold, get this one.

Its a heavyweight hoodie, these eco and other hoodies are thin. I bought them on the last sale, they came in handy during this past winter working remote.

Mmm did a bit more comparing and it looks like this is 9.7oz fabric and the reverse weave is 12oz fabric so a bit thicker.

If this is like the non-hoodie version then small is like medium. Definitely size down.

beware, DO NOT MACHINE DRY.

i order medium, it was hanging lower than my waist area. i dried it ONCE, it went up to my belly...

so if u lazy and just throw your hoodies in the dryer, order like 2 sizes up..

There seem to be four colors @$10.80, Black and Deep Forest in addition to the two in the OP.

Got mine yesterday in the light steel color. It's 85% cotton, 15% polyester, so it didn't really shrink too much after wash & dry. Agree that neck/hood is kind of tight and a bit weird.
