Shop the dealers where most only require one month of service and you can negotiate the activation down to $10. or they will waive it entirely. Most dealers won't let you walk over the activation. As a fyi, if anyone is traveling to Mexico, their coverage there is excellent with 5G in most places with Crickets Mexico plan. It's better coverage and signal strength than T-Mo riding on Telcel's network.

That said, I picked up the iPhone 13 yesterday at a Total dealer out the door with port in for $90. I have another line with them so that waived their 2 months of service up front. But in talking with another Total dealer, they would waive the 2 months for new customers.
