No, I don't think this G50 has that TBW rating. This is *NOT* the pro (which has DRAM), but rather this is the standard which does *NOT* have DRAM. Therefore I think the TBW rating listed on this slickdeals info page is wrong.

Note that the Newegg page combines information for the non-pro and the pro versions together, so you will read info about DRAM cache but that's referring to another product, the PRO version, not this version.

There is no TBW rating listed on the Newegg page. But either way, the slickdeals summary shows a TBW rating that cannot be correct for this drive that lacks DRAM cache.

Lol. There is no G50 Pro version. Moreover, DRAM availability is not related to TBW. TBW is related to memory type, TLC, in this case. 1300TBW is correct according to the manufacturer's website. PS for an average user without specific needs, even 150TBW should last 10-20 years. 1300TBW would last like 100-200 years until it reaches TBW limits.
The TeamForce product page states there are two versions.
https://www.teamgroupinc.com/en/p...002T0C129/
"The SSDs come with different grading systems to suit different needs: T-FORCE G50 Pro PCIe4.0 SSD supports DRAM Caching and SLC Caching, whereas T-FORCE G50 PCIe4.0 SSD only supports SLC Caching. Choose the one that suits you best."

Well, you are right, G50 PRO exists, I missed it due to weird product structure on Teamgroup website. However, it's not important. The rest of the information is still correct.

Yes, it should work but recommended is to get a bit faster SSD than this.

It'll give you a warning that the drive is not up to spec and you might see stuttering and glitching during gameplay, but it will work. PS5 wants a read/write speed of 7000 mbps.
