So in the at a glance section it says Materials : Iron. However visual they look like vinyl and in some reviews reviewers mention plastic and sand.

They are plastic and sand and oddly shaped. Get cast iron
Seconded, these are junk. Don't waste your money, set a kettlebell deal alert and snag one of cast iron ones that go on sale.
