So, unless you have a passport card or an unprotected key to some sensitive place, what's the deal about blocking RFID?

I bought some of their towels at Marshalls and they are quite good quality.
When people are told their data can be stolen by RFID with no education on how, they take it wholesale.
When someone understands how RFID actually works, they realize it's smoke.
Anyone that claims their card info was stolen by RFID it just plain clueless and more than likely got the card compromised from using it at a POS with a skimmer attached or just handing it over to a fast food worker or waiter.
