These have been less than this, but with the attachments and the chemicals, maybe it's a wash.

The water spray pump on mine broke after maybe 2 years of fairly light use. It was effective, but I really don't want to have to pay for a new one so frequently.

I have one of these. I'm not sure it's any better than manually treating and using a shop vac. It certainly isn't easier to use. Maybe I just don't know what I'm doing and I would figure out how to make it more effective and easier to use if I were using it every week, but at a few times a year, I don't see the value.

I had a similar problem, i.e., when you squeezed the trigger, no water would spray. I found that using a needle or a safety pin to stick in the sprayer hole would open it up and would start spraying, again.

This unit is great for car interiors, couches, chairs. A solid tip is not to use the unit to actually clean, but to mix up a spray bottle of Folex and water , spray the area to clean, use a soft brush to agitate, and then use this unit to spray hot water on the washed area and suck up the soapy water and keep going over it until the water being sucked up is clean. The way to make the experience even better is to use your shop-vac to suck the remaining water up.

Thanks for the advice, but in my case those sorts of things didn't help. Really unfortunate.
