Lowes website has "Factory" refurbished string trimmers available. I tried to confirm the "factory" was Husquvarna and that if I added their pre-mix fuel it would extend the warranty to five years, but I could not get the Husqvarna website chat bot to work. Calling the customer phone number had an AI tell me to the website and then dropped the call. Now that is some extraordinary service! Seems the main difference is the 130L does not take accessories, and the 330LK can have the string trimmer replaced with a pole saw, rotating broom etc. I am not 100% sure but after dissecting specs it SEEMS both can have the string bump head swapped out for a brush cutting blade The 330LK also has a separate brush cutter accessory. Here are the links:

Here is the fuel:

Both fuel and gas must be purchased on the same invoice to qualify for the extended warranty, IF it applies to these products. The Husky website does not eliminate refurbished products used non-commercial from the deal.

I know there are a lot of Stihl fans out there that will say these are junk and nothing but problems, but the Amazon, Lowes and TSC reviews are pretty decent. The Amazon reviews seem to include the previous model to 130L so those may not be 100%. These are relatively new models so the online reviews are pretty limited, but the negatives ones mostly cite starting and running problems. My research suggests Sthil is the best, but also 2 - 3x the cost.

I think I'd rather spend a little more and get a Stihl.

Mine showed up. It is Husqvarna factory refurb and is almost like new. I bought the overpriced fuel to get the five year warranty and registered it with no problems.

Sorry to say, YES THERE WERE ISSUES. I thought it was probably a one-off issue, so I did not post it. I could not get mine to start or run properly. I did the YouTube thing and decided to try and adjust the carb. That required a special tool, so I bought a set. No luck. I thought next step was to check the plug. That was seized in. I mean seized. I did not try an impact on it for fear of damaging it beyond warranty. I called Lowes central and they said to try a warranty repair center. The local full service dealer said 4-6 weeks wait for them to look at it. I went to my local Lowes and they were 100% cooperative. I returned it to them and they even gave me a bit of a price adjust on a new one they had in stock. That one worked 100% THANK YOU LOWES.
