I usually buy the ingredients in this separate but at $5 for a 40 oz bottle of concentrate, I had to pull the trigger.

How many concentrate ozs to a gallon of water?
Thank you
Depends what kind of grass and the ambient temperature. It's like chemo. To much and the patient dies

These things are trash. Works only on the arugula-looking weed. Doesn't work on anything else. And it takes 4 days to wilt.

Can the hose attach version be used as concentrate to spot spray in a gallon sprayer? If so, what's the water to concentrate mix ratio? Thanks

I don't recommend spraying vinegar on your lawn for the weeds that are in it. It will kill your whole yard. Also, it doesn't kill the root of the weed, just the top growth.
i didnt say to spray the lawn with it, spot spray the weeds with vinegar. People are obviously using weed killer so vinegar is much better. Makes it easier to pull the weeds out after spraying thats the only way to remove the roots.

This hose end sprayer is the same concentration as the 'concentrate', and it's label claims 5 oz. per gallon to cover 500 sq, ft.

I would never use the hose end sprayer with this herbicide, esp. 2,4-D...I have seen too many trees uptake and die due to overuse of this chemical in lawns, defoliation followed by death. Spot spray is truly the best way to get weed control without collateral damage.

Anyone knows If I can put 'concentrate for tank sprayer' version into hose-end version and re-use this hose-end bottle again and again?

Never had an issue with 2,4 d around trees. MSM, on the other hand, almost took out two oaks. 100% agree on spot spraying herbicide though.

Around here, damage is noticed in early to mid-spring on tender new leaves, and initially looks like aphid damage due to the hormone-like effects of these PGR style herbicides, yet aphids haven't emerged as a pest until later spring. It also coincides with the marketing and application of these 'weed and feed' products, and subsequent 'drift' (leaching) and uptake by the surface roots of these waking trees. 2,4-D, Dicamba (trimec) and triclopyr are often the PGR style culprits, and once phloem is damaged, the tree suffers, wilts and dies in the impending summer heat waves. I prefer cultural first (mow tall, water only as required), then broad spectrum pre-emergent timed according to target, and careful limited spot spray of anything making it afterwards. Cheaper too.

I've become fond of this little sprayer. I have not tried it yet with this bottle but the concentrate bottle should screw into this and then there is a dial to manually adjust the dose.

I like this because it helps me just get the job done without fussing about. Yes, it is easy to overlap and over spray. There are some spots of my yard that going heavy is the only way.

Picked this up on your recommendation. What are you seeing as the setting. I think 2.5 oz?

MyLowe's Pro [lowes.com] offers free shipping as well. Its a business account. I don't recommend converting your main account over if you sign up, as I've noticed free shipping and promotions can differ greatly between them. Some of the prize miss steaks of the past didn't show up on my Pro account.
Thanks for this - I was able to order 2 with free shipping.

Concentrate is regular price. Good deal if you need the sprayer, though.
Adding on. Aside from the the 40oz for $5 (12.5c/oz), there is also 170oz for $18 (10.5c/oz)

Not concentrated.... hidden a bit but found it. Thankfully before I bought it.

Depends on the dose rate, you'd have to run the numbers. Meaning, the hose end sprayer versions of things are designed around dosing so much active ingredient per gallon per se, and that dose rate might change depending on what you're spraying. So yes just about any liquid will work to some extent but it might not dose at the correct rate.

As for me I bought a generic adjustable hose end sprayer and adjust it depending on what I am spraying, makes it more universal.
