I really wish one of these services prorated the bundles if you already own a movie or two in a bundle. That or be able to gift a digital copy to someone else.

Good deal, but I can confirm Fandango did not upgrade HDX bundle titles at the point of sale for Vol. 3

All titles in this collection redeem at HDX on Fandango while Kingpin appears to redeem at 4K on Apple. Saying Fandango may or may not upgrade to 4K is a bit of a loaded YMMV statement.

Good deal, but I can confirm Fandango did not upgrade HDX bundle titles at the point of sale for Vol. 3

All titles in this collection redeem at HDX on Fandango while Kingpin appears to redeem at 4K on Apple. Saying Fandango may or may not upgrade to 4K is a bit of a loaded YMMV statement.

I wouldn't expect Fandango to upgrade anything. Having said that last time it took them a few days after purchasing an hdx bundle. Just FYI

Yes, it's extremely YMMV. I've had times where films were instantly upgraded, sometimes after a week or longer after purchase, and plenty of times where I never receive an upgrade. I think Universal properties are upgraded the most, while I've possibly never received an upgrade for a Paramount movie despite owning dozens.
