$1000 cash back less:
- $95 annual fee
- $50-100 opportunity cost for spending $5000 on a card that only gives 1%cb when you could have gotten 2-3%cb.
Still over $800 tax-free profit. Not bad at all.
Considering it. I have one more application before I hit chase 5/24, then wait for a boosted amex gold or platinum bonus.
Any 0% apr period on this?
Will they treat a tax payment at pay1040 as a cash advance? Most credit card vendors treat it as a purchase.

Found the option, but that card isn't shown as an option there either

Try in the chase app
If you refer you get 10k for each friend. Your friend gets 100k.
Can that get 2 plane tickets to an international flight? is the 100K bonus points on top of the points acquired from spending $5K.
I need to spend $7500 soon, and was thinking of getting a Wells fargo credit card that has a promo right now of 0% for about 2 years. but no kind of rewards points etc.
2 years at about 20% interest says $1600 in interest over that course
1 year at 20% is about $837 interest
If I can pay it off in 1 year with the sapphire, if the 100K points can be redeemed for flights that be worth more value than the interest sure why not.
Sorry credit card newb here
