Better deal here - same price with a 5g phone included. You can easily sell a15 on fb for $100+
Service is not tied to the phone at all. You can use the sim / eSIM on any unlocked phone

Thank you for this post.
Please help me.
I have boost mobile, my year plan for 150usd per year ends in end of this month.
If I buy this deal with a15, how can use my phone , not a15?
Seems a15 will be locked for 60 days.
So I should use a15 60 days and only then I can use my phone or there is another way to use my own phone immediately and unlock or wait to unlock a15?
Thank you

Any idea if I can transfer the sim to another phone after activation? Maybe after I wait a month?

For those, who are not locked with their current carrier and willing to transfer number or pick a new number, this is really great plan (of course not as great as Christmas deal they ran during end 2024, it was I think $200 for 12 months).

But what's the reason if phone is locked? If I want use my own phone, what should I do?
Activate service on a15, then turn it off, put sim into my own phone and don't turn on a15 next 60 days? How to unlock a15 without using it. You said, you can sell it. But it'll be locked, right?

A15 will unlock 60 days from the day it's turned on with mint sim inserted. If you want to sell the phone sealed, you just tell the buyer that phone will be locked for 60 days and they must insert a mint sim to unlock it.

You can sell the phone locked to Mint Mobile. Just make sure to specify it can only be used only on Mint Mobile wherever you decide to sell it. Just buy the phone/SIM card through the link, activate your phone with sim provided, and sell the New Locked Samsung A15. Just make sure the phone you're currently using is unlocked or can be before porting it to Mint Mobile. Next Question ?

Dammit, I hate the way cell service providers say "Unlimited" but the data slows after a pre-determined amount of data. 20GB in this case? (Old man voice--) In my day, unlimited meant unlimited!!! (/old man voice) I guess it's just them hoping ya don't notice. Fuggers!

$20/mo is a pretty good price, though, assuming ya don't need the data above 20GB. Shoot, before I looked at the different AT&T plans, I had an old plan and was paying $105/mo! Down to $70 now but, perhaps it's time to bail on AT&T?

When (date) does this deal end? And does the SIM purchased through this deal also need to be activated within 45 days?
We have few months remaining on an annual prepaid plan from another carrier so just curious what is the latest we can activate / port the number to Mint if we purchase the phone+SIM from this deal.

Thanks for any feedback,

They say 45 days in these ads but I've personally purchased two sim cards at once and initiated the second one at the end of the first three months. I think it's more of a suggestion than a rule but it's up to you if you want to risk it

mint mobile/red pocket sucks, visible all the way now

bait and switch pricing, confusing terrible websites, data caps etc.

it looks like they are unlimited now so visible forced their hand.

mobile hotspot limited to 10gb on unlimited plans, blech. visible does have a speed cap, but trades you unlimited hotspot data and imo this is eons better. when my fiber home internet goes out i just use the visible hotspot and dont worry about how much data i'm using. i can even play Xbox online fined on 10 mbps

but it does look like the whole industry is being forced to be competitive. thats great. my water bill is 100 and never goes down only up, and i cant shop around they tell me the price and i pay it or else, because its the city gubbt
