Ive had nothing but good experiences with mercari as both a buyer and seller. With all the scammers on ebay these days (past 5 yrs+ ☠️) i highly prefer using mercari.

Does not work on combined items from multiple sellers, also does not work if item cost is below $20 but insurance puts it over $20

Only applies to the shipping cost of the item. Not total cost. So only way to get $20 off is if the shipping alone is $20 or more.

What has made you anti mercari?
I bought 2 pairs of Ipod Pro separately and found out both of them were fake. I contacted Mercari to report it and was denied both of cases. So I disputed two transactions to my credit card company and got the refund. Then I was forcefully kicked out from Mercari and am not able to open an account.
