Hmm...decisions. Not happy with the lastest Tmobile hike on my grandfathered plan, but ATT coverage/speed seems to not be as good in my area.
I made this decision two years ago when T-mobile threatened those price hikes.

My bill went from $70/m to $23/m. It didn't make my text messages any less blue or green. Happy with the decision.

I've been on Dark Star for a few months and the carrier bundle issues haven't bothered me. The two main issues are group SMS and the lack of RCS. They'll be fixed eventually. Besides that, the service has been excellent. The Unlimited Starter (Dark Star) plan is a steal, especially the annual promo. $19/mo for 70GB high-speed data and 20GB hotspot. No other AT&T MVNO offers anything close for that price.
The Unlimited Premium on Dark Star, aka ATT's unlimited 5 GB data plan, comes with an unlimited 5 GB hot spot plan. Using the hot spot plan the first 100 GB is at full 5 GB data speeds, and the second 5 GB tier data speed level is at 100 GB at 8 MB 5 GB data speeds; this is what caused me to switch from T-Mobile over to US Mobile as this is a much more generous 5g wireless provider; especially when viewing Netflix shows or interesting informative entertaining YouTube videos at full high video resolution when using one's android tablet on their wi-fi hot spot data plan especially while driving in one's car on those rather long travel commute's to break up the long stressful driving monotony.

The email they sent said for current customers to hold tight, that you'd be able to upgrade for your next cycle within a few days.

2 GB 5g data per month, and no, it does not roll over if one does not use it up. They use all of the T-Mobile, Verizon, ATT leased MVNO cell towers like Mint Mobile. They also will allow one to recharge one 5g data if one runs out of 5g data in the middle of one's month it's like $2 per gb for 5g recharge data refill.
Unused refill data carries over to the next period. Been on this plan for 2 years, no complaints.

I have been using Darkstar for the last month, and the data speeds have improved over the last month. The RCS and lack of visual voicemail are issues, and no smartwatch data. Decent deal it want a plan with international roaming.

This and Visible+ pro are one of the best phone service deals out there imo, I went with US mobile instead of visible just for the multi network option though. These plans are better than the $90 plans on first party service providers.

I left TMo after they started partnering with Publishers Clearing House for giveaways. Happy with Visible+ now

Is no group messaging on both android and Iphone? Also does that go for all (3) networks?

I'm at end of my free trial and now I don't see Flex plan anymore. Light plan has 2GB Premium data which is too little. I don't like Unlimited Starter as it's bit expensive. Flex plan was perfect for me as it offered 10GB data around $200. Why does this happen now?

iPhone users be warned, there are a lot of issues with us mobile right now specifically with dark star that has been waiting for a carrier update. Was supposed to come out in march but didn't come out and I'm hearing May now? Not too familiar with the issue entirely but thats what has been happenjng
iPhone users who need group messaging and RCS should be on Warp or Lightspeed (carrier bundle was added in iOS 18.4)
Update: It looks like its working on the 18.5 beta 1

I have been using US Mobile for 6 months and it is great. I am using the By The Gig plan. My wife and I share 5 GB data for around $22 / month (for 2 Android phones) on a monthly plan. That is half of what were paying for NET10 .I was on their Warp plan (Verizon) but switched to Dark Star (ATT) because it has better coverage at my house. Dark Star will give you an International Roaming add on 3GB for $10. We used that travelling through Chile and Argentina. Very convenient and worked well.

I like US Mobile…great customer service, fair pricing, teleport feature to switch carriers, and their Verizon "warp" services QCI 8 prioritization even on the cheapest plans and offers great service.

That said, not sure this is smokin deal but anyone that hasn't tried US Mobile should.

They have a 30 day free trial for new customers.
Same here, excellent service and price.... my one year renewal for $180 next week.
Highly Recommend them.

For anyone turned off by the lack of feature parity on Dark Star with iPhones, reports have come in that the newest iOS 18.5 beta has an updated carrier bundle that finally fixes them. The bundle didn't make it into 18.4 but looks like it'll be in 18.5 so maybe a month or so away.
