i was looking into buying this or a silky pocketboy saw, i wanted a folding saw to be in pocket for at work. i ended up getting something different though:

https://www.homedepot.com/p/Milwa.../326117274

i got this and i got a diablo brand sawzall blade for wood with embedded nails. so i have a folding saw in pocket that cuts wood, and if the saw dulls, i can just get a new sawzall blade.

so far im pretty happy with my solution, and it wasnt too expensive.

This has the best review from Project Farm. This is the upgrade version from the one that Project Farm reviewed.
I bought this and the older version and keep in my cars for camping or just some rare occasional usage.

Good for around the home, but if you need the best (very sharp) foldable tree cutting hand saw get a Silky Saw. These are expensive, but worth the cost if you cut up branches and/or trees using a hand saw.

I have this and it's amazing. Ripped through some large tree limbs quickly. Obviously the small stuff doesn't stand a chance.

I bought a shitty off-brand handle for small jobs. I didn't realize there were good ones. Thanks!

Hlyshit they should make a D-handle one like this...

Sawzall blades only cut on the pull, so having a d-handle isn't necessary. I think it would be sufficient if it merely stopped at a 70° angle, and what shaped a little bit like this Coronas handle.
But if they were willing to make that, I would hope they would make it with the 9 inch blades. The one I linked is only 6-in blades.

Corona makes D handle pruning hand saws that cut great in both directions of pull. Curved prunning sawzall blades now exist and if someone makes a D handle to use the blade that would make it even cheaper and more versatile.

I got the Project Farm one and expected to love it, but was very disappointed. Maybe I should try it again. It didn't work nearly as well as the Silky saw for pruning fruit trees.

I have a similar model Corona both the 8 inch and the 10 inch. Both absolutely rip.

Tariffs are gonna destroy the price on Silky saws.

Heh, apples and oranges much?

I've had this and a Gomboy (the Silky that's similar in size but still considerably more expensive). The performance is very similar and not worth the extra money for my use case, which is cutting up to about 6" fallen limbs/trees. They both last about a year before becoming dull and in need of replacement.
