i got this and i got a diablo brand sawzall blade for wood with embedded nails. so i have a folding saw in pocket that cuts wood, and if the saw dulls, i can just get a new sawzall blade.
so far im pretty happy with my solution, and it wasnt too expensive.
I bought this and the older version and keep in my cars for camping or just some rare occasional usage.

about grinding the shank on a blade for a more secure fit. Obviously it doesn't fold, but still has those cheap blade / packability aspects.
