Watch the sizing here. These are 10oz cans compared to the normal 12oz cans SamsClub sells for $11.99 for 6 counts. This isn't a bad price but also not great.
I'm still wondering how tuna is chicken of the sea?
High protein low fat- actually almost no saturated fat and so not considered red meat even when it starts of red. These properties are of dinosaur meat. I mean its decedents, chicken.
Walmart sells a 4x12.5oz Chunk Chicken pack for $8.72 every day. That is slightly cheaper than this original deal for 6x10oz @ $10.50.
price is back down. and having tried like 5+ other canned chickens, it's def not all the same... this one has nicer chinks and it's softer, while others have (not sure of this walmart specifically) are smaller, tougher pieces

$0.17oz is a very good price. Also, having bough these 5 times in the last 6 months, it's my personal opinion that these are made by Swanson for them. The look, feel, cut, etc all to my eyes look identical (same for taste)[/QUOTE]
And the slightly delayed delivery time is about the same as the 12-Pack 12.5-Oz Swanson 25% Less Sodium Premium Chunk Chicken Breast you posted yesterday.
I can get 56oz of real chicken breast for this price and chop it up.
I still can't believe how many people buy cold cuts 😂
That doesn't last for a year like canned meat. It most likely lasts less then a week. Then we must factor in the power required to cook it (electricity or gas), and most importantly, your time.

I can't argue with the convenience of the canned chicken, but I opt to freeze vacuum sealed chicken breast with various seasonings. Then I just throw a packet into a sous vide directly from frozen if I'm lazy or don't feel like cooking. It's cheaper than canned, and the texture on the chicken is so much better.

I'm not sure that's cheaper considering the power used/time spent cooking, and personal time invested. I guess the taste is subjective. We might not like your chicken's texture either. I can't argue with doing it yourself, especially if you enjoy the final product.
Are you guys getting boneless skinless breasts? Those are the most expensive. 60oz-wt or 3.75lbs seems like it could be more than $10.50, even here in MO with super cheap poultry prices. I'll check tomorrow.
