Purchased a few years back from DirectToolOutlet, and while it has come in handy for maybe $4 with a case/pouch. I find it lacking and go to my leatherman for most cases. The spring doesn't scream reliable but it hasn't broken with limited use
edit: I have used it primarily to close chains/links on jewelry.
In for one. I will keep it in the car for emergencies. I'm on the Ryobi band wagon for better or worse. I am trying to keep my battery operated tools to one battery family.

All of the real looking reviews, they treat this like it what it is: something that would break if you tried to use it for anything real. But to be fair, that's true for almost every single one of these cheap multi-tools. I've never had a pair where you can use the pliers like serious pliers without breaking them.

I have both Dewalt and Ryobi - I have bought same batteries without logo on eBay. Two for under thirty bucks. They work as good. I'm still blown away. How long they last. Just FYI
Probably about what its worth. Something that would be fine in the glove box or junk drawer when you have nothing else (though the knife blade looks tiny, it should open amazon boxes).
unfortunately this needs not one, but two, 40v mower batteries to function. and even then you'll get maybe an hour out of it.
rats. i was afraid of that. i'm only on the 18v system - so i won't get into this - I don't have another use for 40v. oh well. hopefully the next multi-tool is battery free, hand operated.
I bought this the last time it was on sale. It's small and I would say fine for light duty hobby type of applications but it really isn't a serious tool. I would not buy it again.
