im fine with a small pc or a mini. i do run 2 monitors so thats really my biggest requirement. I5 would be great.

can anyone point me in a direction? i bought this last one refurbished on amazon warehouse deals and may do that again if nothing pops up here.

If those monitors are as old as that computer, they might connect via a VGA or DVI port. New computers won't have those ports--they'll have HDMI, Displayport, or USB-C. So if you want to keep using those same monitors, you'll need adapters. It might be nice just to replace those monitors along with the computer, though. You might even be able to replace them with a single large, wide, or high resolution monitor and end up with a better experience than you have with those two.

I bought a Dell PC from eBay refurbished. It was $230 I think. Great deal for what you get.

This eBay seller has been featured on Slickdeals a number of times because of his competitive pricing on HP certified refurbed desktops. If the $300 range is a good fit for you, these 2 are good midrange (i5-13400) options with a 2 year warranty. HDMI+VGA+USB-C means capable of 3 monitors as configured, best I can tell. You can likely add an inexpensive graphics card if desired for more monitor options.

I should add that these prices aren't super slick, but are pretty cheap for this level of performance. The second one is arguably the better deal with 8GB more RAM for $9 more.

For comparison purposes, The i5-13400 offers about 4 times the benchmark performance of a typical N150 micro PC (side by side comparison linked below). I would think twice about putting an N150 or similar platform in an office environment, unless my budget dictated it. Better to have a box that's way faster than what you need, than one that is barely keeping up and with no upgrade options

Windows 10 support ends in October, so keep that in mind as you may want to wrap up any upgrades prior to then.
