I bought the phone for $100, and when I first thought about selling it, I was going to sell it for $130, but after seeing other phones on eBay, I sold it for $160.
When selling on eBay, I had to consider various costs.
On craigslist, the phone wouldn't sell even if I sold it for $130 for a month, but on eBay, it sold in 2 days.

$550 +tax > going rate online -seller fees -shipping.
You'd need to sell for $650 to break even, with the buyer having to pay tax on that or around $700.
Your profit if any would need to be made on the buy with the help of a target circle coupon of some sort, red/credit card rewards, or discounted gift cards.
If buying for personal use this is a respectable price. Not the best its ever been but for an unlocked Pro XL with no hoops or credit checks a solid price.

But the regular 9 is kinda heavy as is in a sense.

It was 430$ after all activation charges, taxes and trade ins for 3 new pro XL devices.
Basically 143$ per new device!!
But Bestbuy cancelled the order citing fraud prevention policies.
