Ahh, the memories, buying my lifetime subscription to Malwarebytes (via SlickDeals) wondering if it would go the way of my lifetime Musicmatch Jukebox membership....
My lifetime still works fine. yes, i wish i had ordered more. but assumed there would be dozens of competitors to match.
I really dislike the last couple years of Malwarebytes. They continue to give false positives on domains/servers. You can add the IP and domain names to a safe list, but they make it manual and a little difficult to find and use. Intentional. I notified a few dozen sites about MB flagging their sites. All are well aware and have said there is no malware or anything which should have given the software any reason to flag. Some suspected political bias. GoDaddy hosting is something I noted with enough to make me wary of their past and current shenanigans.
What is the purpose of this in the era of Windows Defender / Security? (I see it's for Windows)
I had defender and macafee installed and I got hacked. They took $5,000 out of my bank. I purchased Norton and it found a suspicious file. It was actually a defender file. I blocked the It and I finally got full control of my computer back

I am regretted of buying only one lifetime license. Should've purchased more!
I bought a dozen of them. None of them work any more. Most never even let me register them once. Lifetime was a scam. (And I'm not talking about digital codes bought online, but retail box in store with a card). The $10 deal was all over the place back then and I force-fed this software to all of the many many people I helped with IT in those days.
