3.17 ounces? These used to be 4 oz bars. 4 ounces was also the industry standard for bars of soap of all brands. So why exactly 3.17 Oz now? why not 3.20 Oz? why not 3.15 Oz ? how does the manufacturer come to 3.17 Oz? 3.17 ounces huh ... is this some type of corporate arrogance? they got this shrinkflation algorithm down to a hundredth of a ounce huh? my advice to everyone is when you see this type of pretentious arrogant corporate idealistic BS, just never buy from this brand ever again.

I agree. Why not 100 grams? Last time I bought in 2020 it was 4 oz per bar. This got me so curious, I looked at other brands. Yardley is 4 oz slickdeals @ .99 [amazon.com], Dove is 3.75 oz, Kirk's (never heard of that brand) is 4 oz, Dr. Squatch (never heard of that brand, either) is 5 oz, Zest is 4 oz, Irish Spring is 3.7. Ivory is definitely the outlier!

The 4 oz is still available [amazon.com] but costs more, so per bar price, even for smaller bar, is cheaper. Maybe for smaller hands?
