PSA: Looks like total wireless changed the policy from 60 days after activation to 60 days of active service. This went in to effect April 1st 2025.

Good phone and good deal.

The a35 is good, and is likely the last of the "good" Samsung a-series phones with an SD slot. The a36 and a56 don't have them.

I got the previous (nearly identical) a54 deal and was very happy with it. The two phones are architecturally almost identical (same processors and ram). It's not a speed demon, but is fast enough to do all "normal" stuff, like social media, email, phone, etc... without any real performance problems. Maybe a gamer would be disappointed with it, and it will be getting OneUI 7 very, very soon.

Wow.

Porting in a number is a hassle -- if you don't already have a phone number.

The whole ID verification is just...how do the kids say it nowadays...."totes wack".

No idea how they're storing your image and credentials -- or who has access to them -- or what the process is for them to expunge that data -- or who is ensuring they're following best practices.

Oh who am I kidding, your DL and image are being sold to the highest bidder. We all know that.

How much taxes and fees?

No fee, only tax depending on your billing/shipping address

Do they tax on original phone price ?

Edit - Also, I guess they won't let me buy one more if I cancel the line ?

If not pay for 2nd month then how it will be unlocked after 60 days? I mean to say phone connection should be in active status to be unlocked isn't it?

The whole ID verification has been a total disaster for me.

I got it to successfully process back in December for the iphone 14plus deal but I didn't go through with the purchase.

I created an account etc. jumped through all the hoops but didn't checkout.

I recently saw the iphone 15plus deal and for the life of me cannot get the ID verification to successfully process. Trust me I've tried multiple ways browsers, icognito, private, on phone, on computer etc. Unsuccessful everytime. I've tried on different days, different ways, still won't work.

Customer service chat is a waste of time as well. they cannot help and won't offer a discount to purchase.

Its literally a shame, i'm trying to give them my money for a purchase in which they are advertising and would create a new customer and generate revenue.

Veriff is such a waste of time. Its literally a prepaid service. Lame

I was not going to do it because of the biometrics. I did it anyway because why not save money. All our biometrics are going to be collected unless you stay in a bunker anyway. They get our finger prints and our face biometrics from our phones and create a database for cia and shadow cia. It is what it is dont do it but you will eventually have your biometrics taken one way or the other. Some people will ask for it while others it is taken against their will.
