For those that have done the id verification before with Total on similar past deals... can you do this again on the same account? (I.e. not have to do verification again) I do have my old account as inactive since I didn't renew service after the initial 30 days.
i did phone deal last year. last week i log in to same email, it says my ID verification expired. Just did id verification all over again. it went through fine and ordered this phone last fri.

I'm currently stuck in the verify process I tried option one and two and the wheel just keeps spinning. Did you use the camera on your phone to scan the verify QR code from the phone you're trying to Port from? I haven't tried this yet since I don't have physical access to the phone currently that I want to Port from
Yes, I used the camera on my phone to scan the QR code.

It does not have anything to do with the number of the phone or the porting number.

If that's the case I don't know why the circle just keeps spinning and it won't verify when I try with the phone on hand I have. I tried with the QR code and I tried texting link via sms

its a crap shoot.

it seems like there are more people unsuccessful with ID veriifction than successful.

if someone has a fool proof 100% successful process. I would love to know how.

I even tried verification with my passport instead of my DL and still failed...

I got a successful order in. I had to do the verification from the phone I was trying to port in. After it said successful verification I added my plan then it asked me to put in my zip code at first I put in a slightly different zip code than the payment method from my number I was trying to port in from and I got an error message. After error message I redid the entire process with new SMS code and submitted photo ID a second time and put in a different zip code and that allowed me to check out successfully. Although maybe why it failed the first time is because I tried to create a new account instead of using the account I created earlier today the first time I tried to place an order. This time that succeeded I clicked login with the new sign in I created from earlier today rather than create a new account. When my order got stuck earlier today I assumed no account was created because I got no email verification

If not pay for 2nd month then how it will be unlocked after 60 days? I mean to say phone connection should be in active status to be unlocked isn't it?
They all have to unlock after 60 days once paid off. There was a law passed a while back.

PSA: Looks like total wireless changed the policy from 60 days after activation to 60 days of active service. This went in to effect April 1st 2025.

I can't get the Verification code to add to cart... I think it checks the IMEI of the phone somehow. I used the same phone previously successfully but a different GV.

Does this change things from 1 month service requirement to 2 month?
For cellphones Activated with new service on the Verizon network on or after November 23, 2021, the cellphone is eligible for unlocking after paid Activation and 60 days of paid active service. https://www.tfwunlockpolicy.com/wps/portal/home
I have 40 days left on straittalk a16 and i just bought the a35 from total thinking i only need 1 month to unlock.
