Scratchhead I don't know what you guys bought with your 100 calorie packs as I was gonna buy Double Stuffed Oreos, as two of the lab guys love them, but it's got a short barcode. I was then gonna buy Ritz but they don't carry the snack packs (big box, but only half stacks). I ended up buying Family Size box of Wheat Thins... I guess that's OK, because I still need to buy crackers for a rebate from Christmas (capri sun, nabisco and easy mac).

My 100 calories didn't group together and the B3G1F TQ beeped and I had to tell him how much they were. I didn't think this would have been a problem, but it's Target, so you never know.

Cashier was a young boy, but would scan, check out how much it scanned for, say WOW, then scan the next. I was biting my fingernails, but I now have M&Ms for the lab snack fund (and quite a variety). I didn't find the Peanut Lovers variety though.

Teri: I didn't use any newborn size diapers. Both my boys were 8# and they went right into size 1. I didn't stockpile any NB either. My older son has been in size 5 for well over a year. It is ridiculous how many we have gone through.

We had a really fun day today. I put the boys to sleep around 7:30 and went back to check on them about an hour ago. DS was talking to himself in bed and I could tell he was replaying his whole day. It was so freaking adorable!

CNN is just depressing. I made dinner and sat down to read it and lost my appetite. I think I am just going to bed...too much $hit wrong with the world these days.

Better times tomorrow. Smilie

100 cal packs that I have gotten -

Lorna Dunes
Honey Maid Graham swirly cinnamon bun looking things
12 ct. multi-pack (TQ was a beeper on these, but K'1d) - has chips ahoy crisps, lorna dune, & oreo somethings
Oreo Cakesters - choc & vanilla
Oreo Snack Cakes (look like chocolate cookies with white icing stripes)
Mister Salty Chocolate or yogurt pretzels

At my ST, some of these were in the cracker/chips/snack aisle, and some where in the aisle that said something like "lunch box" or "lunch" something. It had those big packs of single serve chips, etc... in the aisle.

It totally stinks about the oreos - the $1.50 off mq coupons beep, the TQ's beep, bah... Hasn't been a big issue here yet - but I know I've had cashiers in the past that would've freaked.

Diapers... I dunno. I used a mix of cloth and disposies - so I couldn't give you a good idea. Newborns were only a couple of packs - my kids grew quick. Smilie

Wave Hi fellow Shenaniganizers!

Working in the yard today. DH is putting in a patio right now. Who was talking about T not selling pavers? I wish they did, I could afford to pave our entire yard! Whee Instead we had to spend real money at Lowes. Grrrr. I may take DS to T when he wakes up so that I can pick out some plants to put in around the border of my new patio. Monday A&E is showing a marathon of Hoarders. I love that show. It makes ME feel normal. Got to get to Publix to badger some peelies and violate some blinkie machines Teehee.

Been waiting all day to come on and post this and these 2 posts above are exactly why we need these....

My Target got Visa's and Amex's!!!!

Whee

I am hoping that this means all stores will be getting them but I was so very excited to see them there today!

No kiddin LMAO When I bought the house, a fellow SD'er told me I would be married in a year or two. Why in the world would I do that, I asked? Now, I know LMAO But I would much rather hire a hottie to work shirtless in the yard and pay in T gc's Roll

A question for the young mommies. I've started picking up diapers here and there for DD. How many newborn pks did you all go through. I don't remember squat it's been so long Coverlaugh
My first was 10lbs, so he barely could squeeze into a size 1. laugh out loud The other two, still healthy-sized babies but more in the 8.5 to 9lb range, only used 1 or 2 pkgs of NB size. My third has now been in size 4 for at least 4-5 months. I would stock up the most on size 3, to be honest. They sit on that size for several months, whereas sizes 1 and 2 they move through pretty quickly. TexasTiger, I think, is keeping a tally of how many pkgs of each size she is going through with her child. Might want to check her signature for that.

Had our yard sale today. I did fairly well - 489.xx. Not too shabby! We close up around noon as that's when traffic really dries up. So almost $500 for 5 hrs of sitting in the sun - not bad! Will help out nicely with our road trip next week. nod

So tired. Must go to bed. Have a great weekend, all, if I don't manage to get back on!!

Yeah, for some reason, the TQ groups sometimes for me, and other times it prompts for price input by cashier.. And I always get the same ones, so I don't know what the problem is.
The peanut lovers stuff at my target is with the big assorted bags or hershey stuff, a little down from the big m&m bags..

I have been buying the same ones, except the cinnamon ones.. My kids don't like those. And our store doesn't carry the multi packs.. The pretzels ones are yummyyummy

Diapers- I had 3 big babies and one average size. The big kids (9 pound range) all used 3 bags or so of NB diapers, but my last DD used about 7or 8 bags. (she seemed to go through a ton of them)
I agree though that the biggest need was in size 3, 4, and 5. I had stockpiled size 6 too, but she never made it to them. I have about 35 packs of size 5 and 6 that I am going to sell at my next GS.
Now, I am thankful for all of the pullups I stockpiled. I just had hubby pull them all down from the attic.

Went to target tonight. Used a ton of coupons, and left pretty happy.. I didn't save as much as I would have liked, but had to get several things that I didn't have coupons for.. I guess I should be thankful for the savings.. It is funny, when I first started slickdealing, I was thrilled to get things cheap, then I got better and wasn't happy until I got them free, and now I want to make money each time.. It is an addiction I tell ya!

gator - as far as the PT goes, have you gotten the video from huggies. I saw something on TV about the potty dance or something. You can send off for some kind of PT kit I think. I have seen books in the bookstore as well, although I never used them.

Had hoped for a GS this weekend, but that didn't happen. maybe next week.

looks like some pretty decent GC deals at target this week.. I am thinking pullups, bounty, olay maybe... And I was looking at the p&g preview for 6/6.. looks like we get another gillete bw bogo Smilie gonna be selling alot of that next time!

Because I was craving Hardee's Cinnamon and Raisin biscuits, I needed another excuse to go because the nearest Hardee's in about 35 miles away. My wife and I decided to do a clearance run to a Target that required driving by that Hardee's. I hit gold.

I found a HoMedics Shiatsu Massage Cushion (MCS-100-1). [target.com]

The website lists it for $76.99. The original price listed on the clearance tag was $69.99.

The clearance price?

$8.74. Faint

It was on an endcap with other items on clearance for 15% off. The box is a bit beat up. It might have been a display unit or a return. It looks brand new and boy does it work. laugh out loud

thanks Gator. It's so hard for me to remember. DS was so tiny (1.5 lbs) that we had to buy preemie diapers and cut them in half. He was still in size 0 shoes when he was 9 months old. Then, DD came along at 8'14oz, but she had such bad colic, I don't remember anything but crying Roll

I had a MQ going and it disappeared on me - oh well...

Only thing my sun fried brain remembers is, no, my avi is different than MistyQs... mine is more of the cracked out Amy Winehouse Lady Gaga Wink

TotallyTarget has a good scenario for the Olay that has a GC with it this next week combined with the extended $20 wyb $50 Olay rebate offer here [totallytarget.com] - but I think those $2 Qs will be beepers on that Olay stuff. Gets to be $5.52 for 8 items after Qs/GCs/Rebate

Grats on the yard sale, that's awesome! Nothing like $100 per hour for all the targeting loot. I'll take that anyday.

I love hearing about all the gardens. I have got to get going on one! At least some of the topsy turvey and pots. I do have basil and parsly in my window. I guess that's a start. Teehee

Nice find you lucky duck.

I hit Kmart real quick before I went to Target and found a $3 Head&Shoulders blinkie. I got $68 of Physicians Formula for $11.xx =) None of my $4 peelies beeped even when a few of the make up went below $4, it helped for the ones over $4. =D Talk about coupon nazi cashiers! Two of them had to examine the peelis for 10 minutes reading every tiny bit of the Qs and then asking did a peelie come off of this one, off of this one? Exactly why I haven't shopped there in over a year. They will deny a coupon for the lamest reasons.

Went to Target,
Used some coupons,
Left happy. =D

I was so happy to find the matching C9 pants for my DD, I got her a windbreaker but one store was out of the pants and this store had them. They also had ONE pair of the C9 flip flops for $3.xx and they were my size. I was SO happy to find them. Whee It's not a massage chair or Sonicare toothbrush but I'll take it.

Got rid of most of my 5/31s, the good ones.
It's been a long day.

Hope everyone is having a great Memorial Day Weekend... We had our long weekend last week...

My brain has gone dead.... can someone post or PM me barney style the pop/soda deal... I'm just not seeing it. Duh!!

Teri - my grandson was 10 lbs 8 oz... he only used 1 bag of the newborn and 1 bag of size 1.. he is just outgrowing the size 2 now and he's 3 months old... but he's already 17 lbs and 28' long...

Ank - your posts always bring a smile to my face....

Hey Plffg - sorry you have insomnia... I have it chronic, if you need some sleeping pills I got lots.. lol or challenge me to a Mah Jong game on FB.. .lol

Dia - I have no idea how you retain all that info...

Hope everyone's GS went well or goes well... My daughter and SIL had an impromptu GS for me a couple of weeks ago when I was down in Wa.. they thought they would surprise me.
Did OK considering all I had in those zillion totes where - paper plates, kleenex, FP trio toys, Always, Glade candles and a few left over shampoo and deodorants. I thought I had alot more....
I was supposed to have one today, but I really don't have enough stockpile yet. Going down on Monday for 2 days to try and get more... Will have one in early July....

So this time next Sat. I will be in Maui with my granddaughter and Mom for 3 relaxing weeks. I'm so excited... My GD will dig up the message bottle from the beach that she buried last year with a letter to her daddy, so on fathers day she will add more to the bottle and bury it again.

My mom wanted to go before she dies she said... I guess at 78 she'd better go now. It will be more work for me since she can't walk much and mostly uses a wheelchair. but for all she's done for me, I don't mind.

Have a great weekend everyone.

Lania - Have a WONDERFUL trip!!!!!!!!!!!!! That is so special that you can do that with your granddaughter!!! You are an excellent GrandMum & daughter to your Mum!!! I think the soda deal was this week - so ending today (Sat) it was purchase 20 of the 12 packs of soda ($60) use 5 of the $2/4 MQ (-$10) and 10 of the $1/2 TQ (-$10) which takes the total to $40 and then get $20 in Target Gift Cards ... so $20 for 20 12 packs.

WHOOO HOOO! I am so happy for ya! $500 is nothing to sneeze at - that is for sure!!! I hope you have a LOVELY trip!!!

Ok - what is the deal with the 100 cal packs??? What am I missing? Oh and yes - those short barcodes are IRRITATING! Is that the way that all barcodes are going? If so why? Hmmm

BTW - speaking of popping into a book like Super Why --- did your older daughter ever watch Blues Clues? My lil guy used to watch Blues Clues video tapes we have from my older daughter and Steve would always talk about "Blue Skiddo We Can TOOO!" and then go into the book .... my lil guy spent hours one day yelling "Blue Skiddo WE CAN TOOOOOOOOOO!" and jumping onto a book and was really angry that he couldn't skiddo into the book like Blue & Steve! LOL

I never did get there today! *maybe* I'll have time later. Maybe.

Ya know - that's a good point. Maybe I'll have 'em all yanked and stock up on ensure and pedialyte. Goodness knows I"ll have enough vitamins to supplement any other needs.

Oh, and if I can figure out how to package and properly/safely mail a cheesecake - you'll be first on the list!! Warning, once you eat one of my cheesecakes - you'll want to move to TN to be closer.

Monday we are going over a friends house and having a cookout. I'm taking cheesecakes - not sure if/what else I should bring. What's good picnic food that's relatively easy to make?
Hey I would love to move closer anyway - just too many folks here I need to look after LOL And yup with the vitamins I definitely can skip the whole teeth thing LOL

On a sucky note I DID make it to Target today and I shouldn't have wasted my time. I had one of the RUDEST encounters ever ----- it made me think lot of really impolite words about the young woman who 'helped' me. She was a manager who came over to do a supervisor override because the Scrubbing Bubbles BOGO coupon for the Fresh Brush is $6.29 and any coupon amount over $5 requires supervisor override. The cashier was perfectly polite and had scanned the coupon & was just awaiting the override and a chap came over and entered his number which didn't work --- he kept scowling at me and the machine and then told me he wasn't "really a supervisor" so his number wouldn't work. Whatever that meant. So he kept pressing buttons and the register kept saying something to the effect that "you are not allowed to do this override." So he backed up ... now remember the coupon has not been rescanned at this point and he has been pressing all kinds of buttons. Over comes Miss Snottypants and as I start to show her the 3 coupons and the 3 boxes of SB she told me to "Be quiet she was trying to read" as she stared at the coupon. Then she looked at the red screen and told me I was not able to use the coupon as it was --- yup say it with my guys - "One per purchase" and the computer wouldn't take 3. I said that didn't make any sense as they hadn't even entered ONE!!! I won't bore you with the entire story which involved her telling me that it wouldn't work and after 10 min I got her to back up to the screen that shows the purchases. I then spent another 10 mintues trying to get her to scan the coupon again and then it asked the amount which she typed in and then got the "Item not found" screen so she told me it was not the correct coupon and didn't match. I politely asked her to show me how it didn't match she told me she wouldn't and didn't have to anyway as the computer said it was wrong. She assured me that the computer wouldn't accept it anyway - I aked her to push K1 ... remember it has taken us ages to get to here. She pushes k1 and surprise surprise it works. At which point she tells me that I can use that 1 coupon but no other -- goes back to the 'purchase' argument. I tell her that makes no sense as she just saw that it worked - and she said that she had the right not to sell me anything and that I couldn't use the coupons and that if I looked up at the wall it showed that she had the right to determine the rules and decide what she would sell, to whom she would sell, and she could refuse all coupons if she wanted to. I tried to explain the policy but to no avail - so I told her to cancel and give my coupon back which at first she wouldn't do - but did in the end return it. Walking away telling me that I can call Guest Services she can do what she wants. I asked for her name 3 times before she gave it to me - it didn't match her nametag. Anyway - I didn't buy them - wasted 30 minutes over this - accomplished nothing - and as I exited she grinned up at the wall and nodded towards the signs posted - I didn't give her the satisfaction of stopping to read them but I doubt they say that she can do whatever she wants. Anyway - shouldn't have bothered.

Thanks for the kind words Dia.... We will have a wonderful trip..

Oh well missed the pop deal. I'm going to wait to see about the 100 calorie thing to.. think I'm missing out on that too..
The 100 cal snacks are 2.41-2.54 depending on the store I have been to. Buy 4, use 2 of the bogo coupons from the printable thread, and one of the b3g1 target coupons, and get all 4 boxes for approx 2.50.. basically buying one and getting three free.. I don't know what else it out there coupon wise, but I have a few of the 1.00 off coupons from a houseparty and I have been using 2 of those along with 2 bogo coupons and the tq.. Costs me .50 for 4 boxes.. Just watch out for those darn short bar codes.
