Teri - that's okay - don't want to take your last few q's! I just looked 'em up on the bay and looks like they may be gas station tearpads, so I'm gonna look around here and see if I can find 'em. There's usually at least 1 pilot that will have these kinds of q's.
That's right, I got them at the BP around the corner from my house. If you can't find them let me know and I'll send these to you.

I saw that too but the next line says , rest of JF stuff 10%..so I asumed there are bigger bottles on sale for 5.99 and the ones for 5.04 are 10%..Dontknow
I noticed that too. I just got the 5.04 ones.
Quote from whimseys :
Someone clue me in on the JF please? I have tons of $5/2 and $3/1. Thanks!
2 x 5.04 = 10.08, less 5.00, less 3.00 = 1.04 a bottle. Or something like that Wink

weird stuff with the update today. one store, my clorox b2g1 q's prompted the screen of death. cashier tried scanning just the left side and still prompted. she tried everything she could think of but it still kept prompting her to pick an item. no other q's did this but the clorox q.

next store, it didn't prompt the screen of death. Dontknow

hug I'm sorry you're having to go through this. My dad was the EXACT same way. He was 100% independent until we found him unconscious in his condo. He went down hill very quickly after that. Once we got him stable and moved to a nursing home up here near my sister and I (3 weeks later) I had a big meeting with our hospice agency up here (we had started hospice services down in Miami when he first was hospitalized). Anyways, I met with the lady FOREVER with a 3 year old and 1 month old with me and then walked her down to my dad's room so she could talk with him for a while. Well I had to go so I told him to call me later, he calls me when I'm on my way home and says that he told her to never mind, because he didn't need that stuff. I was like OMG you have GOT to be kidding me. It's funny after the fact, but at the time I was ready to lose my mind. He passed away the day we finally got him enrolled in the program.

Hang in there. You're a good granddaughter for caring about and for her. And yes, cancer sucks.

Today was the first time ever I've been upset with Target. I try to buy two of the 30 pk Cottenelle double rolls (regular version) and the register didn't prompt for the $5 gc as listed in the ad. The cashier suggested the gc was just for the Ultra version pictured. Rather than argue the point I told the cashier I didn't want the Cottenelle.

I get into my car to leave and decided to check my receipt. Quaker Oats Chewy granola bars were marked buy 3 get 1 free. I bought 8 boxes. Good thing I checked my receipt because I paid for all 8 boxes. I had to go back in, grab the tag off the shelf as proof and head the customer service to get money for the two that should have been free.

It was almost like their computers didn't get an update for this week's sale. Anyone else run into this?

Who the hell throws a bday party for a 4 yr old girl, invite little boys too but have nothing planned for them..The girls got to play dress up but the friend of the hostess was so uptight abt the boys not touching the girls stuff..And shldnt there be a favor bag for the boys too..I mean the girls got little treats and the boys were just standing there looking...The party was at 2, no food was served until 4.30...And then the adults started eating and noone was bothered about their kids..The first thing I would plan if I had 20 kids over at my place would be to make sure there are snacks/snack table for kids...I know my kids will never come tell me they are hungry if they are busy playing....but if there are snacks kept, they will help themselves..Are most kids not like that...I think I am Crazy.

End of vent...

went to T, 2 good runs, DS got to choose something he wanted, he picked binoculars....Had to explain a lot of things to DS and I am not sure if he understood anything...

I've had it happen before, but rarely. If you had taken the Cottonelle to the CS desk they could have figured it out for you.

yes, I had more than four.

I would have been totally ticked off if that happened to my kid. I would have said something too, along the lines of "do you have any activities planned for the boys?" Gosh, kids bday parties are so hard. You have to be politically correct because of the kids.

I went to my MIL's BF's exStepD's kids bday party....The invite said BBQ 1:00p - 3:00p So I plan my day around this, We get there, there is NOT one thing planned for the kids - they are left UNsupervised to run across the street to the little apt complex playground set and picnic table. They didnt even start prepping the chicken for the SMOKER! until 3:00 - I have 5 kids (that eat lunch at noon normally)) and if I bring them ALL to a party they each bring a gift, so this kid (that I have never met and niether have my kids) now has five presents left unopened from my kids and they dont even get to see this stranger open them, get any lunch promised or even a slice of cake as a thank you for the $100 worth of toys this Mother now has for her kid. --- Some people are just freakin weird!!!

Oh and #3 had a princess party and we had prepared Prince things too - not that any boys showed except mine LMAO

I would have been totally ticked. We went to a kid party last year. It was from 11-2. No lunch. Only cupcakes and juice. I almost couldn't even believe it. No snacks, nada. Poor DS was soooooo hungry when we left there I drove through the first McDonalds I could find and threw some food in the backseat for him.

Were all the items the exact same price? If not, were they scanned highest to lowest? I know some stores don't matter, but mine still do - and maybe you found one that does.

Otherwise, it could just be a funky register thing. I've had some registers do that and others not. *shrug*

Wow - sounds like lots of folks don't know how to deal with kids at parties. Seems odd to plan a party for kids, and then not plan the party to accommodate the kids - kwim??

When we are invited somewhere and it is anywhere near our regular mealtime, I tend to feed the kids before going. Sometimes it's just a little snack to tide them over. Mine get CRANKY if they don't eat on time, and if there's not any food or none that they like - it makes it harder so I try to just head it off at the pass. That being said, I can't remember ever going to a party (especially for kids) that didn't have stuff laid out to at least snack on (crackers, cheese, fruit - something!) *shrug* Weird.

I don't really throw kids birthday parties... but that's mostly cuz I'm lazy and don't want to deal with clean-up. laugh out loud We do family stuff, but that's about it. My oldest wants to throw a party this year, and I *might* do it. She wants to do a candyland theme where we make a giant game board, etc... I think it would be kind of fun.

I hear ya on the party thing.. we did a first party for each kid but it was mostly family and church friends.. now, we just let them have a few, as in 3 or 4 at the most, spend the night here and they order pizza and hang out.. The big kids are old enough and I make them clean up there own mess after the partyLMAO We really don't do anything big though. usually on the actual day, the BD kid gets to choose were we eat as a family. My DD will be 16 in september.. she wants a big sweet 16 bash like some of her friends have had. some of these parents have spent several hundreds of dollars on parties for these kids.. live bands, formal gowns, limos, catered food..EEK! I can't compete!
