Has there been yet another coupon crackdown at T? Bought two more of the clearance Megablocks Ni Hao, Kai-Lan sets today and the $3/2 TQ beeped. Cashier said no so I took it to customer service. Instead of doing a missed coupon, she returned the two sets and rerang them, then scanned the coupon. INF so it was refused there as well.

I don't know but I will NEVER use a coupon that beeps as cashiers tend to get pissy about taking them... I read if it does not beep then accept away... just my thoughts.. I avoid beepers like the plague LOL Sorry!!

Maybe it beeped because the item was ringing INF, so the q had nothing to attach to?

The sets didn't ring up INF, the coupon did. And I bought the same sets previously and the TQ didn't beep, just at this store today. Previously this same store would look at the item and make the judgment call. Now, they won't K1.

It's not a store I go to very often, maybe once a month or less, so I don't know when it changed.

Safeway's not too hard. If you read the thread in the DS forum, they keep pretty up-to-date on the deals. The wiki is well-kept, also. This week and next week are great weeks to jump in, because they are having a buy 8, save $4 promo going on, that includes many many products storewide.

I've been able to sell my Renuzit cones for .50/ea at every yard sale, and they sell out like crazy. The Combat selling for $7+ is very intriguing though - I may just have to check that out!!!

Went to one of my Ts and was able to get a Visa card.

They are now writing the amount that each BOGO scans for on the Q. Takes so much time, kind of annoying. Think I'll steer clear of that store for awhile, go with ones where the checkout is a little quicker. With 3 kids in my cart, I have to be able to get in and out. I took your recommendation, teri, for the Clorox toilet drop-ins. Will be trying those, for sure! The toilet bowl cleaners and the bleach are TPC to 1.66 currently.

Must go. We are having kabobs for dinner, and I'm gonna make a potato salad. Plus coupons need clipping and laundry needs folding!!

Yup it is me!! They are quoting thousands! THANK YOU - I will look and see if they are available here and whether the dentist who has seen me will accept them. So far I have only located ONE - you read that right - ONE dental plan for individuals in this state. Other companies offer individual plans but not in Wisconsin. The one plan that is available costs about $50 a month for an individual and covers 80% of cleanings/x-rays & simple fillings ... 50% of root canals, gum something-or-other, and crowns (up to $1000 per calendar year.) That $1000 includes all work - not just the root canals. However - you must also have been a premium paying holder of this insurance for a FULL calendar year before you can have any work done (other than cleaning/x-rays.) So I might get it but at least 1 of these root canals will not wait. Sigh. I will check into this plan you suggested - THANK YOU again!!!!

They smell like bleach. Everytime you flush, it smells like bleach (not overwhelming). which I don't mind. It really does keep the toilet bowl clean though.

I hate to admit it

but I think I've just gotten lazy. I can do T in my sleep, but SW seems like hard work. Granted it might be different if I found a store that wasn't so crazy about coupon acceptance (or lack thereof).

I was going to reply and say just what Teri said... they totally smell like bleach (especially if it's been a long time between flushes and the water has been in the toilet tank for a bit). I tried to find the blue ones in the larger pack (hoping they'd smell better) but I've only found the 4 pack of the regular old white "bleach" ones. And, let's face it, the larger pack is a better "value"

- But at least the bowl is clean

(that can be added to the list... dishes won't do themselves, coupons won't clip themselves, and toilets (usually) won't clean themselves)

sweet IMO. However, it could have been the fact that I haven't had ice cream in almost 2 years or the fact that I was starving when I ate it too.

Ms Teri..I do not have reciepts for nothing...I usually throw them away or they find their way on my car's floor... why?

Some people were having trouble a while ago at their yard sales, and having people question how they get all their stuff. I just think it's best to have receipts when selling large quantities of items on the bay or at yard sales. I keep all my receipts. I throw them in a gallon size zip loc and when it's full, I start filling another

I dunno! I bought two Kai-Lan clearance outfits for $3.74 the other day for my two girlies (the blue shirts with the jeans) and tried to use the $3/2 TQ and it beeped INF. I don't know why??? They are coupon crazies at the West Side store here --- so I don't think it is anything new. But you never know??? Sorry they were of no help to you!

Yeah - they just cause fights!!!! It drives me batty when they are TOTALLY LEGIT coupons and beep anyway .... you might as well be handing them a gum wrapper and asking them to scan it for a discount :banghead:

2 Questions - There is a chap a the Target store who is new and not feeling the coupon warm & fuzzies ... actually he doesn't appear to be a chap who enjoys smiling let alone feeling warm fuzzies. He was wearing a red button down shirt on that had embroidery with red/black/white thread which said something about a "Target Team Hero" across the left (when facing him) side of his shirt (breast pocket height) ... there may have been the word leader there too ... not sure. I haven't seen that type of shirt before. Is he a new head manager or something? Anyone seen that kind of shirt or know what it is about??? I am hoping he is not the new Chief Assistant to the Assistant Chief ... he looks SUPER prickly

Also - have all y'all seen this? It was put together by JuJuli in the Deals Thread and would go well with the Smuckers Newpapers Q's ($1.25/2 or B2G1) out there.
