Went on a "date" with my 3yo daughter, with the purpose of hunting down coupons. Was only mildly successful - found 5 of the .25 papers that had the P&G insert. Considering I stopped at probably close to 15 locations, and only came up with that many, I'm kinda disappointed. But me and Lillian had fun, which was the point anyway. We ended it with a snack-size McFlurry with M&Ms which thrilled her to no end. I'm a cool mommy now. Big Grin

saw some greenworks hangtags at T for B3G1 free similar to the clorox hangtags coz they have yellow elastic on top. found them on some greenworks cleaners and greenworks detergents. Found more of the clorox hangtags too and there were some $1 hangtags on seventh generation for the spray cleaner I think but were found on the dish soap. HTH

Yes, blasphemy to pay for wipes! Some nice coupon fairy actually left 2 of the wipes MQ on the shelf at Kroger. heart that person!

Hope you stick around TCC! Your avatar is toooo cute! Smilie
Thanks!! Planning to stick around!

Iagree I keep all my receipts as well. I have had to actually show them at one of my garage sales! I was thankful that I kept them!
Me too...I store them in a wipes tub until that's full then transfer them to a Ziploc and mark the dates on the bag. Not only because of having the garage sales but I donate all of my stuff from about July-December to a local women's shelter so I save them because of claiming stuff on taxes.

I figure if I'm gonna make use of the free wipes I need to make use of the free tub tooBig Grin There are about a bagillion uses for those...

Whew!! I realized by Monday that because I'd ordered multiple places when I found them at a decent price I'd ordered 70 totalOMG Then I got to thinking about all of the uses for them and thought again.

Quote from tn_native :
*snip* Survey question: I'm hesitant to buy the Pieces candy B2G1 because one of my guys in the lab doesn't like coconut, one doesn't like Mint, and one doesn't like peanut butter EEK! and there's only 6 guys in the lab. That leaves the dark chocolate one? They LOVE plain chocolate M&Ms (not peanut, not almond, not pretzel though) but I don't know if they would go for dark chocolate or not.
Do you like them?

*snip*
Is this at Target that there's a decent deal on these?....we have been using the PB ones for dd for potty training incentives (work great BTWWink) and I was planning to buy them at Walgreens because they are $2.99/bag through 6/26, spend $10 get a $5 register reward:

$2.99 x 4 = $11.96
-$4.00 MQ's
=$7.96
-$5 register reward
=$2.96 for 4 bags, $.74/bag

Are they less than that elsewhere? *If* they're included in the 2/$5 sale next week they'll be another $2 off, .96 for 4 bags, just not sure yet.

I thought so too laugh out loud

I have some extra wiskas if you are in need of some.

I've been picking up the clorox drop ins. The are a little pricey at 9.xx a box, but they keep the toilet nice and fresh between cleanings, and don't take up much room in the stockpile Grin
Thanks Teri. I think I have enough Wiskas coming to feed both my kitties and maybe some kittes at the shelter Wink2

I try to avoid using those drop-ins because "sometimes" I catch a pet drinking out of the toilet. I've also found (from 5 years cleaning houses professionally) that they tend to rot the rubber flapper part of thew toilet-which makes for a running toilet.

I think I replied via PM to all who expressed an interest in trading. Seriously, I have looked at those coupons and the whole shelf of Clorox at T and haven't been able to make a good deal. Maybe it's the coupons I've clipped, maybe it's the cleaning products I like to use.

I just got done trying to give my hubby a tutorial on printing coupons from coupons.com on 'his' computers. Needless to say it ended in......."could you please just let me do it, I can do it a lot quicker" LMAO He's very supportive of the couponing and will even use them if I ask him to but s.e.r.i.o.u.s.l.y. how hard is it to figure out coupons.com??????????????

I have bought several of the clorox toilet cleaning wand things.. They are 9.99 here. I have one in each bathroom. The kids are better at cleaning their br when using these. Also. sold some for 5.00 at the yard sale last week

i have never bought the skinny cow things.. What kinds are there? Any idea about prices?
I might get some of those brushes as well - have the older ones maybe give a hand with some cleaning ........ hmmmmmmm .... might be wishful thinking! LOL Do they work better than the Scrubbing Bubbles Fresh Brush toilet cleaner? I am not sure those do much ....

New to the tcc thread, thought I'd stop by and check it out.

Anybody else have a good laugh when they saw the Pampers wipes on the front pagelaugh out loud

PAY $13 for them??
Hey There - and welcome Smilie I had to buy my Pampers wipes coupons because there is no source of free papers here ... but luckily I didn't have to pay quite $13 for them. I need to find a free source of coupons!!! LOL

Dia... you have me cracking up tonight .... Seems the more I rest, the more tired I get.

Darling toddler climbed up next to me on the couch - yakking away. She decides to stand up to "check your head". She stands up, looks down, and declares in an exaggeratedly surprised and amazed voice "your head is soooooo big!!!" Then decides to start patting it and says, "it's a nice potato".

I think she's in her own world.
Hee hee - laughter is ALWAYS the best medicine!!!! Smilie Oh and I hear you on the rest thing .... that is being a Mum!!! I keep telling my non-napping children that now when they have time they don't want naps & when they want them they won't have time!!!!

Your lil girlie sounds so much like my Miss M ... she says the FUNNIEST things at times! I love the potato remark - LMAO What a HOOT!

Quote from gatorcater :

Hey some of us have to Sadwalk LOL It is still a better deal to use the coupon than not ... even with paying for the coupon (just not as good a deal!) And I can see why you heart that person! That ROCKS!

Wow - you had to show them to someone at the GS? That is nuts!!!!!

Quote from whimseys :
I saw someone talking about a brownie cup - I think they go for $1.50 each but I haven't seen them at my T.

Hysterical...I have 90 coups to use and no money is involved!

I love that! I wish my kids were still sweet like that. My 6 year old just mumbled that I was an a-hole because I told him he couldn't take a brownie to bed! You should have seen how fast I flew up those stairs!

One question - was everyone's "free" first aid bag empty? Seems $4.69 was kind of high for it.
drool 90???? You lucky duck! You have your sources for sure!!! LOL

Oooooh you have a daring 6 yr old ... I would have been flying after mine as well!!! It is hard being the Mum some nights!!!!!

Yes - I don't understand why anyone would buy it???

Quote from tn_native :
Survey question: I'm hesitant to buy the Pieces candy B2G1 ..... Do you like them?

Skinny Cow (what an oxymoron) cups come in Dulce de Leche, Chocolate Fudge Brownie, Strawberry Cheesecake *I've tried one of each of these* , Caramel Cone and Cookies 'N Cream.
I have never eaten them but my oldest son likes the dark chocolate - he says it is good! But he is a kid so who knows! I have never had any Skinny Cow products ... I might try some.

Quote from littleteapot :

Do those bags really work? Do they keep the air out & make clothes more compact?

Thank you for the HU .... more questing for elusive hang tags!! Anyone else here ever feel as if the hang tags don't exist and we are being led down the primrose path. LOL

So I am in the middle of taking a take-home, open-book final for a LL.M. course entitled "Current Topics in State and Local Tax" and while you can use materials from class or supplemental materials, you are not allowed to collaborate with a current or former student...easy enough. Well, I am sitting here preparing my answers and my professor took all the questions WORD for WORD from the FAQs on the IRS website! Scratchhead Do I use this knowledge for good? I mean, if I use the answers, he is going to know I found the FAQs but then he is totally busted too. Hmmm..

Plus, I feel really cheated. I mean, classes aren't cheap and I bought a $100 book for this class when all I really need was a website address. Mad
I had something like that happen in high school and needless to say I got an A on that final exam Whee

However I didn't pay for that worthless education, so I'd be pissed if I was in your situation. Email him with the link to the FAQ and ask if he would still like you to complete the assignment and if he would like the exam and the FAQ forwarded to the dean. If he's taking the easy road out on an exam, who knows what else he's copy/pasting.

If you just copy/paste the answers, he won't care about you finding out, he'll just report you for cheating/plagiarism.

Has there been yet another coupon crackdown at T? Bought two more of the clearance Megablocks Ni Hao, Kai-Lan sets today and the $3/2 TQ beeped. Cashier said no so I took it to customer service. Instead of doing a missed coupon, she returned the two sets and rerang them, then scanned the coupon. INF so it was refused there as well. Mad
There were signs by registers at the T I went to yesterday that had 2 low value TQs on it and a X/XX that were fraudulent. Farkers.

Had a sick kiddo so made a quick Target run. No clorox drop-ins, no green packages of baby wipes, and we got Visas yesterday and they were already all gone. Every.single.one. (expect the 25s) Plenty of Amex though Scratchchin
Sad Frown
I didnt have time to look for any deals because my DS was sick at home and I just wanted to get back to him. I did get a temporal thermometer and a nifty Spiderman cool pack. It is fabric on the outside so the cold doesnt touch their skin. After some Target brand meds (because we have none thanks to the recall), a cold drink, and a cool Spidy pack..he seemed to feel a tad bit better.

ETA~ best toilet bowl cleaner ever is The Works.
