At the photo counter they usually have a small display with a few different types of the SF gift cards. There are two different types that are for a photo book and then the general $30 SF gift cards (those are the ones I've gotten). If I need one, I'll usually toss it in my cart when I first get into the store. That way I'm not running up there at checkout with a cart full of stuff.

Smilie

I learned about this from Ariel (our resident SF expert). Speaking of A, I haven't seen her on here in a day or two... hope all is well.
Cool, thx for all of the info. on the SF cards. I don't always order my prints from there but loooove their photobooks. I used to scrapbook and just found that the organization it took was too much for me but tried out digital scrapbooking and loved that since it's easier to organize and cheaper for me too....and Shutterfly is my fave place to order books from. Here is a link to my dd's 0-12 mos. book:

ho.ly.cow - that is cute!!! They have templates like that? I'm not a "crafty" person at all, but I love books like that. I may need to have another look at their books to see if it's something that my non-crafty self can handle. Teehee

BTW, I love that last pic of your DD walking with you both holding one of her hands - so cute!

I've worked in child care (public school Headstart/pre-k) for 13 years. When I found out I was having a girl, 6 years ago I had the hardest time picking a name. Emma was just picking up steam then b/c of Friends, Nadiya was my BFF's daughter's name, I had seem more Lisa's, Stephanie's and Jennifer's than I would ever care to so all the "popular" ones were out. I liked Beatrice but realized what a curse that would be to any child. LOL Loved Cecelia BUT the nick name CeCe sounded too much like, well, you know.

Finally, I decided on Delia. Don't you know, after all that it never occured to me that people up North didn't know how to pronounce the name?! She's been called everything from Delilah, De-lee-ah to Dell-ah. Also, never thought anyone would connect the Jonny Cash song, "Delia's Gone" to her name but we get that song played at evey family function. Its NOT a happy song. Trust me!

Lesson learned - someone, somewhere will always mess up what you think is the perfect baby name! As long as you like the name, don't worry and embrace it.

PS- Delia has cousins named Magnolia and Clementine.

shake head No templates...at least not from Shutterfly. There are some digi-scrapping websites that do sell templates and then you use your editing software to use whatever digital 'papers' you want but mostly I made these myself. I do editing for my brother's photography business occasionally so I have some Photoshop experience and that's how I got into this. I don't think this method is as time-consuming as regular scrapping either but that's just meSmilie

13 yearsOMG I never would have lasted that long, bless your commitment, especially to Headstartheart I like the name Delia! Not sure exactly how you pronounce it - cause I'm from the north I guess Rofl2 but I can think of a couple cute ways to pronounce it!

I'm from the south and I would pronounce Delia as "Deal ya". Spelling dd's name differently has caused her many headaches. Instead of spelling it Emily, I chose to spell it Emalie. As a result she gets called " Eee mall eee" "Ema Lie" and even 'Email" .

Just to keep this OT Wags topic rolling here's a "few" scenario's for this week:

Scenario #1 (Using up expiring 10RR's I had)
5.99 Nivea body wash
-3.00 MFQ
4.02 (2) Neutrogena Transparent Bar Facial Soap *2.01 ea here
2.99 (1) Neutrogena Lip Balm
-10.00 RR from previous week
====
0.00 OOP (Plus we're AFTER Q's here in MO)
Earn
$10 RR for 3 Neutrogena
$6 RR for Nivea

Nice $6 MM

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Scenario #2 (Using up expiring $2 RR's)
6.03 (3) 2.01 Neutrogena Facial Soap Bars
-6.00 RR
====
0.03 OOP
Earn
$10 RR for purchasing 3 Neutrogena ($4 MM)

* Scenario #2 also works great for rolling $6 RR from Nivea
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Scenario #3 (Just for the poster that said they only had 1 Q for the Hydro)
Transaction #1
7.99 Schick Hydro
-5.00 MFQ
====
2.99 OOP + tax
Earn
$4 RR on Hydro

Transaction #2
6.03 (3) 2.01 Neutrogena Facial Soap Bars
-4.00 RR from Hydro
====
2.03 OOP + tax
Earn
$10 RR for purchasing 3 Neutrogena ($4 MM)

Transaction #3
9.89 Fusion Proglide
-5.00 MFQ
5.99 Nivea
-10 RR from Neutrogena
====
0.89 OOP + tax
Earn
$4 RR for Fusion
$6 RR for Nivea

Transaction #4
6.03 (3) 2.01 Neutrogena Facial Soap Bars
-6 RR for Nivea
====
0.03 OOP + tax
Earn
10RR from Neutrogena

Total OOP on all 4 transactions - $5.94 + tax
Total RR Remaining $10 RR from trans #4 & $4 RR from trans #3

Then you can lather rinse repeat Transaction #3 & 4 spending $0.92 OOP + tax & building an extra $4 RR on each 2 transactions
I may just have to do some Wags this week, just maybe. I've got no RR since I stopped doing Wags a few months ago.

Had a fun weekend in Lake Powell with the family & some extended family. Saturday was way to windy to launch the boat so that was a bummer. Other than that we got a little sun and had some fun.

Now to get caught up on the new T deals. If anyone has a minute to PM me anything great it would be much appreciated. heart

I missed the whole divaforcoupons thing but read some about it, hope that crazy beotch gets a public smackdown! The last thing us couponers need is some one like her teaching fraud to the masses like it's savy couponing.

I've been clipping all moring, we found some papers at the recycle bin yesterday. I have some $2/5 Healthy Choice TQs also some of the other TQs for Tide, Charmin, Bounty, Downey, Bounce. $2 Pampers Wipes MQ.
Would love to trade for some Ziploc or Clorox.

I just got my RP and there are $2 MQ for Pampers Diapers and $1 MQ for wipes. The Starkist Pouch is B2G1 80000 Family & 16. Don't forget the cans have a different family code 801450 which I prefer. The only time I have found cans with the 80000 family code is when they are shrinkwrapped together.

Good Morning All...

Hope we all have a great day today.

Yesterday....for me was interesting. Three bad events make a good ending.

About 8 in the morning I realized I had to drive south to pick up my badge for work. Left it in my car and I was borrowing a van for the FM, which I had already figured I would not return until after I was done with work. Well...Plans stated I NEED my badge to get into work..and then the one to hang around your neck to state you have a gaming license.

Off to drive the hour south to get my car. Stop at a gas station to top off the tank.Smilie Well, get back into the van....it doesn't start, battery dead. Nice couple behind me jump started it for me. But it meant I was NOW 15 minutes behind schedule to get my car.

Get my car. Left there on time.

Get to work and check to see where I am scheduled to work. Okay...Pit 6 BJ ...Good..WHAT!!!!! I was supposed to be at work 10 am not noon. When am I ever start at 10. I am two hours late. One point given to me for being over an hour late. There goes my perfect attendence. Geeessssh.

Good ending is this cute new phone which I haven't mastered. I read about the new hidden deal at Wags for the Neutrogena. I found them. Bought three little face cleansers for ,74 each minus $2 ecotrin RR paid .34..Received back 10RR. Did that 12 times. Cashier said I could go back and get more. Smilie

Nice ending. just finished getting all envies I owe to peeps done. Now to get cleaned up and out the house.

Will stop at the union hall to see how close they are to calling me back.
What exactly are the little face cleaners and where are they generally located?

Teri, when you did the wainscotting in your bathroom - how did you do the corners? Did you use the corner moulding stuff or just bump the edge together and caulk? I found a clearences vanity with sink a Lowes like 60% off with matching mirrors..I am going to do 2 single 28" vanities side by side instead of one large generic double sink...and instead of tiling the walls or leaving them bare I want to do the wainscotting. I am thinking of doing a 4ft height but still havent decided on that yet - what is yours?

Oohh, I would love to trade, I'll send you a PM!! Big Grin

Had two successful grocery runs with kids in tow this morning. Giant and Safeway. After rebates and store mistakes, will have gotten paid to shop this morning. And that's not counting the items going into the garage sale pile. Whee I wish I had more of the Sorrento cheese stick coupons. I ordered more, but there's no way they'll get here in time before Giant's sale ends. Oh well - at least I'll get quite a few rebates knocked out in the next couple days. CanNOT believe that rebate is FIVE times per household!!!

Planning a trip to Target tonight. I would also love a PM if there's anything spectacular going on. I printed the BOGO SB TQs - will those work in conjunction with the TQ GC? Its a little overwhelming right now, with so many TQs out there. And I'm trying to figure out RA, so my head is swimming with all the lingo from the different threads!!

DSIL did mine. He mitered (is that the right word?) the corners and then filled the seams. I think mine is at 4 ft. and then the top moulding on top of that, so probably 4' 3". Sounds nice. I want to do the upstairs bath next.

Nice grocery shop! I wish we had some of those stores. Ok I have missed the SB BOGO TQ! But I think it will work with the GC TQ just depends on cashier, some count those as a TQ & say only one TQ & MQ per item. I saw the $3 SB Power Sprayer, I guess I'll have to read the deals thread some more...

I know another problem with one of those T GCQ was if you used another TQ in conjunction with it, it wouldn't subtract the cost of the gift card from your total, so you were in essence paying for the $5gc. Would prefer to not deal with that hassle if I don't have to. Wink
