I'm pretty sure that they aren't re-loadable...

heart I love it! heart Thanks Sky!

So I was driving in my car the other day, and I may or may not have been singing along to the Lady Gaga/Beyonce song (Embarrassment), and all of a sudden I hear the line "should have left my phone at home b/c this is a disaster" and I thought, "hey, that is Sky's location on SD!" bulb LMAO Anyway, I think of you now every time I hear that song (which again, I may or may not be singing along to Teehee).

I tried it twice and the register voided the GC out both times and then prompted for a payment for whatever minus the GC. Scratchhead Maybe I do it wrong?

Thanks for posting the wags scenarios over here - always helpful. For T, I never use my visa GCs at T unless I forgot a T GC at home. Since you have to pay the activation fee on the visa/amex cards, I'd try to use at places other than T. No sense spending the activation fee if you're just going to use it at T. But the fact that they may try to process a return back onto one of those cards is another reason to watch out.

thanks bblueskye- and happiest of birthdays to you!! I had to think why I did use that TVGC at T and then remembered that I had used it somewhere else, then tried to use the remainder at Walmart and it would not go thru (another good reason to avoid WM). so I was worried that something was farked up with that card.

I think the RRs may state something about GCs, but RRs are like cash Wink big orders are good when doing such a purchase. paying with GCs at Wags is important d/t wags registers won't go below a certain point with tax (depending on state) - my county has 6.75 so I will always have OOP that irritates me. for wags fillers this week I found jibitz (sp) those little thingies for kid's crocs for .19 each.

I have had that happen before too, the best WAGS GC to buy is the photo one or the Grey one that are already preloaded for $20.00. They always work flawlessly.

Ah... good idea about using the GC somewhere other than T. I will have to do that from now on. I never thought about the whole return issue - but I rarely ever do returns. (of course, you never know when you might have to!) I like to ask for gift receipts most of the time though - that way if I do need to return something, then I can send DD in or at least not worry about the whole payment thing. I don't know if they require it to be returned on a Tgc or not - but since I pretty much do the majority of our shopping there (and they now have the Tvisa's... well... s'ok with me!)

Hmm.... maybe some areas have it programmed to kick out the gc's?

Okay - either my eyes are going bad or I was reading too fast!! I first read that as "got accidentally shot"! EEK!

Hmm... maybe that is the key. I always buy the pre-loaded cards. They seem to be less noticeable that way. I often (mostly) buy gas cards cuz I figure if I use a little of the gas cash, then I'm covered. i.e. I'll get a $25 gas card in my order, and my final total will be say $5.00 (we have 9.75% tax pre-q, and I also like to have a little bit of a balance to pay when getting GC's - just in case... seems cashiers are less annoyed when you do.) Well, then I take out $25 from the gas budget to pay - which gives me the $5 cash to pay for the order, $20 cash for whatever else (more groceries, coupons, deals, gifts,or gas), and the $25 card covers the budgeted gas amount so I stay even in that envelope. If I don't buy a gas card, it's usually the pre-loaded Wags card.

Can the photo card be used for any purchases? I feel kind of silly asking that, but I kept wondering if it's specially coded for just photo purchases.

I hope that makes sense...

hug KO & Greenbelt - thank you so much for your help with scenarios. Now I also have to look up next week if it's that great!! I need to stock up on the shampoo, so I am going to do that too. I may not do a lot at Wags this week if it's that much better next week!

We had a super late birthday party for me last night. Just an informal gathering of our friends - cooked out burgers, hot dogs, and chicken (thanks T!!) The sweetest thing was that one of our friends gave me a birthday gift! It was a GC for T!!! And.... in the envelope they also stuffed their T catalinas. Roll Talk about a friend that knows ya!!

I hope you are all having a very blessed day!

I've been trying for 4 days to enter codes on the Kellogg's Toy Story promo page. Anyone had any luck? First two days, it would immediately change to the "log off and go outside to play" page, now I get an error when trying to log in. Frown Can't enter new codes, can't redeem codes I already entered.

Weird....I entered a few a couple days ago and it worked just fine for me.

As others were reporting in the deals thread, Sobe did not prompt for GC this morning for me alsoConfused, just a heads up. At least one of the flavors were ringing up $1.02 instead of $1, going to go look at my receipt and try to figure out which ones.

Thanks guys for the info on the pre-loaded cards. I didn't even know they had those. See how little about Wags I actually know! Smilie

Yes, you can use the photo one anywhere in the store. I found that out last year when I got a few $5.00 ones from Coke Rewards. I wish they still had those.

Also, I know Target carries Curad band aids. I don't know what other stuff of Curad they carry.

Thanks for the bday wishes! Some places won't take the visa GC if it doesn't have enough to cover the full transaction amt on it. I mostly use them at wags/cvs, and I know that their registers will take a partial payment with one of those cards. So if your total is $5 and you've got $3 on your visa GC, it will take the GC and say you still owe $2 more. Good for emptying out the last little bit on your cards. Wink2

Good idea... Gator, I know there is one type of wags GC (the W card or red one Dontknow) that won't work with RRs (someone who wags regularly, please help me out here) - maybe that was the type you were getting.
