Yes...It is a fun puzzle.
Not many stores around here take the expires. I don't ask. Just try to use up only the ones from two weeks prior.
Tonight my transaction was.
Renu, HE and Gilette..Minus 1,1 and 2..Use a 10RR and paid under $2 which I used a gc to cover that amount. Receive back. 7.50,4.50 and 2 RR. Mind you I was not happy my total was that high...Will study receipt to get OOP lower.
Reports are stating HE rolls. So now whenever I need to buy more HE I know I can use this handy 2RR. with any of my transactions.
I'm still having problems getting my scenarios cheap enough for me. I hate having high oop start costs. I do have a 10.00 gc for wags that I'll use, but i hate to use it up right away. Bah.
If anyone has any expired SB TGC coupons that expired 6/16 or 6/5 (sprayer and the b3 q) that they can't use, please let me know...

We pay PRE-coupon tax here as well --- I think that is part of my problem in getting the WAGS ball rolling. But there must be a way to make it profitable in the long run!
Speaking of returns ever had one go really wacky???? I have had 2 go all funny lately. Neither was a huge amount - 1 return was an outfit for $11.99 that was too small for my DD and I handed them the receipt but when they scanned it and then scanned the item the return amount came up $0.00 I hadn't used any coupons on it and the total on the receipt was about $100 so it wasn't a question of it taking it past $0.00 There was a HUGE discussion behind the desk and some central location was called and they read all the info from the receipt and then finally manually typed in the $11.99 that was on the receipt and gave me my $$ back. Then the other time I was returning a movie - again they scanned the receipt barcode and again the amount came up $0.00 (I think this customer service person wouldn't tell me exactly what was going on and asked for my driver's license. I gave it to her and asked again and she replied that there is a problem I have to call the manager.) She scanned my license and gave it back to me and we waited. The manager came and then took the receipt and disappeared for 10 minutes ... came back with another person and with no further comment gave me the $9.99. I asked what the problem was and was told "It is fine" with a scowl. Luckily I those are the only two returns I have made in I don't even know how long and I don't plan on having any in the forseeable future ... but WHAT THE HECK??? Anyone ever had that happen?
Also you can never use a Maroon colored WAGS CARD (one that you receive if you return something) to purchase another gift card it will make the whole transaction go arwy. So if you have one of those DO NOT use it in the same transaction as a gift card purchase.
Does anyone think that a person could pick up a Visa Gift Card at Walgreens (not activated it at Walgreens) but activate it at Target? Or do you think they are store specific? hmmm
eta I thought you could add funds to existing T Visa gift cards? Activation fee is paid once, and then funds can be re-added whenever?
I am pretty sure - never having tested it - that the codes are NOT reloadable ... at least that is what they say on the back. Who wants to test that theory?

Pre-q tax here too. I think this round I am slowly resigning myself to have to pay a little oop. I need to get back wagging, so I'll do it... I like the big RR's - I've had success rolling them into GC's for wags here - so that is the only way that it helps with the oop tax cost. Otherwise, I'd sit out on a lot of the deals.
As for T returns - i have no clue how to answer that. I haven't returned anything for a long time. However, in the off chance that I might need to (especially when I've gotten clothes or something gifty), I will often ask after they've rung everything up (and before I pay with my q's) for a gift receipt.
It'll cover the whole receipt, but doesn't give any specifics on q's, etc... I figure it'll just go easier, and since I do most of my shopping at T anymore, works out well for me. Plus, with the visa gc's and ability to buy them with the Tgc's, well... I figure I can usually work a little overage somewhere to pay for the activation fee and convert it to the visa if I have to.
That's my thought process anyways...

DS is doing well also. He's all healed from his surgeries and the wobbliness has finally gone away!
About the returns. Is it possible you had bought clothes another time and had the wrong receipt? Did they check to make sure it was the correct item? I say that because once I went to return a handbag and took in my receipt with a handbag on it only to realize I had brought the receipt with another handbag I had purchased.
Other than that the only thing I can think of is your total OOP vs coupons. You said your total was over 100.00 OOP though. Did you buy any GC or high priced items?
About the movie...did you use coupons on that run? If the manager disappeared with the receipt he was likely taking it back to watch the video footage of your transaction. They usually ask for your DL when the register prompts them too, for various reasons (several returns within a specific time frame, coupons, etc.)
I've never had the register prompt for my DL. I only use gift receipts for any returns though. Don't know if that makes a difference. Using the gift receipt for a return is nice because if the transaction was paid for with a GC they will either A) give you a GC or B) give you cash, which ever you prefer.
However, I have no clue if a return would be considered a reload.

I used the TVC at Best Buy on an item that went on sale the next week. I went back in to price match the item and the refund was applied back to the TVC. So if I purchase anything with them that I may need to return later, I keep them.
Thanks for the info on the gc. I never would've thought that I had to keep the gc. I would think they could put it on a Tgc if you didn't have your gc though. Man, I'd hate to have to keep track of the darn cards!!

About TVGC - I prefer to use them at places where I know I won't be returning stuff- grocery stores, restaurants etc...If I make a big purchase I put it on my CC and if I am sure I am keeping the item, I convert the TGC to a visa...

Do the dress return as a return w/o receipt, unless you've maxed out on those. Then have your neighbor do it
If this is the dress on not on the receipt. I would just take it to CS and explain. Here is my long receipt and I cannot find the dress on it. I think it got skipped, here you go.
Or return dress without a receipt. Use gc(vocher card) to get correct dress.
