I wonder if the stores can set individual limits - i.e. if store A wants to limit customers to 3 like items with q's, maybe they could do that?? It is very odd.
I think I remember you writing that your jedi's tried covering the funky bar code - right? Hm...
Were the q's belt scanned or gun scanned? I've had weird things happen before when it was one vs. the other. I've also had certain mq's just act weird at one time, then later no problems.
And now that you mention it, the other day I had 3 gillete bogo bw. First one auto'd, 2nd prompted, and 3rd one auto'd. I did have Olay too, and I think bounce fabric sheets. I am not sure if everything was belted in the proper order - high to low, but I wonder if something like that didn't happen...
Or maybe it's a newish thing if you get different varieties?? Like how Kmart auto's if you get all the same exact thing, but if you get different flavors/scents then it pops up a screen??

On the Kleenex ones - do the barcodes match? Any shorty's or alt. codes? That is odd...
My jedi was scanning, then it would beep, I had her hit clear and made sure it was just the left barcode, it still did it. My cashiers almost always use the hand scanner, it works faster that way. Today was the hand scanners all day.
IDK about the different varieties. I mean then none of the Qs should have worked if that was the case. That is the thing, I know that I did all the right things, bc the 1st of each Q auto'd for the way we like them too.
One other of my Qs that I had multiples of beeped INF when it had not before, maybe the Nexcare?
Seems like an update that is still getting kinks worked out. I think the upshot is - no more overage but stuff is still free. At least that's how my transaction worked.
well, it seems as if something is up. my guess would be an update that clearly isn't working. I'll be testing the waters down this way this weekend. Hope all is good. I haven't been shopping in a few weeks, so I don't know if anything has changed.
Teri - I was posting in reply to that person b/c I thought maybe they had the same probs as Ariel did. They are from AZ. I'm from IL (and I'll be crying when this update hits (it hasn't yet)).
