Dontknow I keep reading updates here as well. The father has filed for divorce and there is a restraining order now. What else has happened??

Thanks and repped Greenbelt!

Hmm... weird about how the TgcQ attached. Glad to hear you didn't have any issues with the coupons. Did you use more than 1 of each TgcQ? I was hoping to get 1 set of pledge and 2 sets of scrubbing bubbles since I need about 1 of each scrubbing bubble thing! Sheesh!

Is anyone still seeing decent kids clothes clearance? I was holding out for some of the more expensive dresses and jammies to go on lower clearance - I'm hoping it's still there. I'm also Pray there's a pack & play available. (high chair wouldn't hurt, but I can wait on that!)

I think I'll take a stroll through Patio too. Looks like some folks have reported clearance in the deals thread. I never did get back to get chairs to go with our table! *laugh*

Going to see my Grandma for the weekend Whee

Kyron Horman case..

Step mom lawyered up with one of the states best defense attorneys.
Have you guys seen the body building pics of her? Whoa! I think its twixpix or something similar. Search Terri Moulton and its from 2005 I think

Desiree Young (bio mom) said today that Kyron is alive and they are asking for step mom (Terri) to cooperate.

2 different 911 calls were made on Saturday involving threats and a domestic dispute at the Horman home.
Henry Oakes has brought in his dogs and has gotten a hit on a houseboat now 2 days in a row.
Tomorrow marks 4 weeks so I think there may be a more official press conference tomorrow although Im not sure.

This case is too weird.

glad the ac is working. This summer to tooooo hot.
I tell you one more day of this heat, especially knowing the new air conditioners were just sitting downstairs waiting to get installed all week and I was going to revolt and start working in my skivvies. Being the only female out of 15 employees 40 and overweight I'm sure it would have caused a stir.

OK believe it or not I have a crazy aunt that did that once. Well OK it was at home but she was sick and tired of her DH coming downstairs in his underwear for breakfast even though there were large picture windows and glass patio doors all with no curtains and within easy eye shot of the neighbors. So one morning when he came down for breakfast in his undies as usual he found her standing in front of the stove wearing nothing but what god gave her and a pair of heels, and YES ALL the windows were wide open! To complete the picture they are two retired Italians living in Central Iowa. (MY AUNT ROCKS!)

Oh that's funny. I can't do that here because my son thinks it's "ewwww" He's 6. He doesn't know what eewwww is yet.

I love this oldie but goodie joke.

There was an old married couple that had happily lived together for nearly forty years. The only friction in their marriage was caused by the husband's habit of breaking wind nearly every morning as he awoke.

The noise would always wake up his wife and the smell would cause her eyes to water as she would choke and gasp for air. Nearly every morning she would plead with him to stop ripping one in the morning. He told her that he couldn't help it. She begged him to see a doctor to see if anything could be done but the husband wouldn't hear of it. He told her that it was just a natural bodily function and then he would laugh in her face as she tried to wave the fumes away with her hands. She told him that there was nothing natural about it and if he didn't stop, he was one day going to "fart his guts out."

The years went by and the wife continued to suffer and the husband continued to ignore her warnings about "farting his guts out" until one Christmas morning. Before dawn, the wife went downstairs to prepare the family feast. She fixed Christmas pudding, mashed potatoes, gravy and of course a turkey. While she was taking out the turkey's innards, a thought occurred to the wife as to how she might solve her husband's problem. With a devilish grin on her face, she placed the turkey guts into a bowl and quietly walked upstairs hours before her flatulent husband would awake.

While he was still soundly asleep, she pulled back the covers and then gently pulled back her husband's jockey shorts. She then placed all of the turkey guts into her husband's underwear, pulled them up, replaced the covers and tiptoed back downstairs to finish preparing the family meal.

Several hours later she heard her husband awake with his normal loud ass trumpeting. This was soon followed by a blood curdling scream and the sound of frantic footsteps as her husband ran to the upstairs bathroom.

The wife could not control herself and her eyes began to tear up as she rolled on the floor laughing. After years of putting up with him she had finally gotten even.

About twenty minutes later, her husband came downstairs in his blood stained underpants with a look of horror in his eyes. She bit her lip to keep from laughing and she asked him what was the matter. He said, "honey, you were right - all those years you warned me and I didn't listen to you."

"What do you mean?" asked his wife. "Well you always told me that I would end up farting my guts out one of these days and today it finally happened. But by the grace of God and these two fingers, I think I got 'em all back in."

hmm... now why didn't I think of that!!!

Oh man.. and I have both reg. potatoes, sweet potatoes, and carrots...

I just drank the last of our iced tea. We have Kool aid, so that's good I guess. *lol* I had some pop, but it's gone too. I hate having that in the house - it disappears too quickly!!

Dh just emailed me to say they are having a weight loss challenge at work and he wants to do a strict Atkins diet. Oy... I'm not a fan of no-carbs. It makes me nervous to think of that - but I guess we'll be doing a ton of veggie dishes (which isn't bad). Well, I think *he* will, I should say. I don't think with the pregnancy and breast feeding that I'll be able to do no-carbs at all. I just think there's room in a diet for *some* carbs - i.e. the whole grain kind. *shrug*

or chip tile... Sadwalk
I lost nearly 100 pounds a few years ago (though I've put about 30 back on since.) Did it with the help of a support group and doctor supervision. He didn't have a name for the "plan" but basically it involved trying to get in at least 60-90 grams of protein and no more than 2 grams carbs for every 3 grams protein. So I wasn't cutting all carbs out by a long shot just making sure their was 50% more protein to carb.

Some of my favorite eats were:
- Tuna Salad served on halves of boiled egg (like a deviled egg, where I mixed Tuna in with the yolk mix)
- Spinach Egg & Feta crustless Quiche cups (This also tasted fantastic if layered with a little Ragu and fresh basil - more like a noodle-less lasagna)
- Turkey Pepperoni Chips (Take Hormel Turkey Pepperoni and cook in microwave between sheets of paper towels until crisp) Tastes a lot like salty potato chips.
- Sugar Free Chocolate Pudding made where I substituted 1/2 of the milk with pureed cottage cheese. Sounds gross at first but tasted like grandma use to make with whole milk. Then throw in freezer for about 30 minutes and stir to consistency of Wendy's frosty.
- Good Luck! Maybe I should get back on that wagon myself.

There is also a pretty easy recipe for making Ice Cream by hand in ziplock bags. Was a pretty fun activity for ds & all the nieces/nephews while camping last summer. Can find the recipe for you if you want. Just let me know.

Just what I was talking about, then you can always add things to the mix for flavorings. I've even added some overripe peaches & a little caramel topping to the bags once for a yummy peach ice cream. Only downside was that the kids were all still young enough that most of them gave up after a couple minutes and then it was up to all us parents to sit there shaking the ziplocks for up to 10 minutes.
