I don't know where my ice cream recipes are. One of them is really simple- it uses a half-gallon of chocolate milk and a couple more ingredients. You just throw everything in your ice cream freezer and in a little while you have some delicious homemade ice cream.
The one I have is like this one:
Busy day today. Going up to my old hometown in MD to have lunch with a friend and her kids, then off to the local ice cream joint then back home. All this with 4 of my sisters in tow, as well as my kids. Fun times. : D I'm hoping to get a run or two in tonight. Not sure where yet, but somewhere. Need to get my shop on!!
We have had such glorious temps the last couple days, but its about to come to a screeching halt. The Fourth is supposed to be a high of 96.
Surprised my baby sister with a graduation party last night. She had moved down here for the summer to get a job to earn money for college in the fall (where my parents live in MI, there is NOTHING as far as jobs go) and we hadn't celebrated her hs graduation yet. Gave her my standard grad gift - My First Care Package. So much fun to put together, and its always stuff I have on hand. :rofl:

The bio mom and dad held a press conference yesterday. The mom was very distraught, and was begging the stepmom to cooperate w/ the police so that they could find lil Kryon. They were basically saying "we know you did it, now fess up" What's weird is that she also said "we know Kyron is alive". The police are keeping EVERYTHING under wraps in this so only they and the parents know what is really going on. It's like watching a game of cat and mouse unfold on the TV. The step mom took 2 polygraphs (which you can only assume she failed) and there were the 2 911 calls from the house on Sat.
Dia, I'm wondering if they are thinking he's alive based on the questions in the polygraph.

Homemade ice cream sounds so good. DD got me in a mood for hot bacon dressing talking about it the other day. That is good over romaine, or potatoes for a nice German potato salad, or even over shredded zuchinni. Yum-O.

and WTF is WRONG with Mattel???? DD and I were looking through toys today and the Barbie had a v=neck dress cut down to her naval and her boobs hangin out. DD said it's marketed for adults and you are supposed to be over 18 to buy it....well then WTF is it doing in the KIDS toy section???? Good God help us all. I just don't get it

Gives them grief about Barbie and is hilarious but don't let kids in room as language is VERY explicit.

Teri - I totally agree about Barbie - I don't really like them and think they look trashy - but what do I know I never had them when I was little either - my parents thought they were garbage so I played with Lego and Erector sets. So ...... did you find out? Pink? Blue?
Oh and a thought ..... do you think they suspect the Step Mum's oldest son?????? It is all so odd - I keep hoping though! I thought the interview with the Mum was weird!
