Tons of it but I don't have the patience to tape 30 cut lines together. But on a positive note, we now have a full time shredder!

I realized I had the kandoo 1/1 wipes from that P&G and went to pull them out. Of course they were on the back page and the barcode right along the crease. So I figured I'd tear each one down the seam, stack them together, then cut the coupons. Apparently I wasn't paying close enough attention because out of 100 coupons, only 30 of them still had at least half the barcode. The rest were ripped almost in half. ooops!

Target still takes them. teehheee

Since there was only 1 insert this weekend I thought that it would be okay if I left my stack (6 inserts) on the dining room table with the scissors so that when I got a chance I could cut some out. Big mistake, my dd4 decided she wanted to help me and was trying to cut along the lines, the barcode lines! Oh well, who needs deo/bodywash anyway.
Oops! And I bet you do have tons of bw. laugh out loud

When I accidentally cut through a barcode, I lay both pieces of the coupon face down and tape them together. I've gotten really good at that. LMAO.

Thanks for the info on the rebates. I haven't done any of them. Ugh... I have got to get my bum moving...

I think most of them are salvaged/salvageable. I just piled 'em up and stuck 'em next to the couch. Didn't even want to look at them after that! But... I'm going to have to now!

I like the way you think...

hug Thanks! I bump my belly on all kinds of stuff!! I have to be careful on the steps too. My toddler keeps leaving things here and there, and I don't see it! Ugh! It's also hard to get used to not being able to squeeze through tight spots any more! LOL!

I forget - when are you due??

Oh my gosh, that's horrifying!

A few months ago I was redoing my coupons, had worked on it a couple days, had them on the floor by the computer desk spread out in categories etc. While I wasn't looking, my mother's boy dog PEED all over my coupons, binder and accordian folders. Mad I wanted to kill that dog!
Ugh. I probably would have killed the dog if she did that here!!

Oh yeah... my DD (2) likes the scissors. Thankfully, the only q's she's managed to cut up were expireds that I had pulled to throw away. Boy, did I learn quickly to make sure that if I am going to set the scissors down, they HAVE to be put up. Even if they are right in front of me, the little bugger is so fast she'll take 'em & run!

I'm so tired. Ugh. I think I will take a nap. DH emailed to say he's coming home early. YAY!! I was going to go shopping when DD went to guitar lessons, but I think I'll just wait and go later. Or tomorrow. *sigh* I keep putting it off!

Oh, and did I mention that I had the bright idea to redo my system and had taken ALLLLLLLLLLLL my loose and bindered coupons, put them in a box and alphabetized them. Took me 2 days. I was going to put them back in my binder, and started to put the box on the table so I could get up to run to the bathroom... Yeah. You know what happened next.

ALL. OVER. THE. FLOOR.

and, in case that wasn't a PITA enough, I bumped the table and sloshed water out of my glass

ON. THE. COUPONS.

I couldn't even cry. There's just nothing left in you at that point. Just numbness.
Oh no!!! I hope they survive and that sucks you have to do all that sorting over again. I am thinking of redoing my coupon system again too. I had a binder then went to accordian files & envies but now I am thinking the binder will be better. UUGH!

That is horrible!!! Sick

If I leave my coupons around anywhere my lilB likes to take them out, throw them and roll around in them.

He has only done it once with a few envies of my good coupons so the damage wasn[t to bad. The worst was when I pulled tuns of expireds and had a entire Target bag stuffed of clipped coupons. I left it in my room went into the bathroom take care of bizness and get ready for the day. When I came out he had the entire bag emptied and was scooting, swimming, rolling, and throwing them everywhere. The entire floor was covered and he had the biggest grin and was laughing. Months later and I still found a few exp Q under my bed.

Help!

wave I am one of those ppl who cannot wrap my head around the Kellogg's deal....the more I read the more confused I get......

So, I know 20 boxes would never fly at my store....5-6 would probably be more likely. If I get 6 can I use 2 of the $1.50/3 TQ's??? Do I give the $1.50/3 tq's first or the 'free' FiberPlus tq's first or does it matter??

I know I should know this but I am just Faint this week trying to keep up here and get ready for GS but we really need cereal!

I would give the 1.50/3 TQs first, and then the free ones. I think the set of 20 is to maximize the deal, especially if you have the TS3 TQs.

I am trying to come up with shopping lists for runs tonight, and I am just stumped. Can't figure any stores out for the life of me. I'm trying to get lists together for RA, Wags, SW, and Giant. Struggling with ALL of them!! And I have little to no real money to spend, so my runs have to be airtight so as not to get embarrassing at checkout. laugh out loud

Trying a new recipe tonight for dinner - Molasses-Mustard pork tenderloin. Out of Bobby Flay's cookbook. Hope its yummy!!

This was a post on AFC:

Don't know if this is a glitch or how long it will last.

I just did this, I bought 3 Frosted Flakes on sale for 3/8,also got 3 Fiber Plus cereal . Used 2 MQ's of 1.50 off 3, then 3 Target Free Kelloggs Fiber Q's when you buy another Kelloggs cereal.

My grand total....

0.09 for all 6 boxes. Only thing better than that is when they pay you, which is rare for cereal in my area.

This may be a glitch because the Fiber one TQ gives you full price off, not sale price.

I don't know... the more I read deals the more confused I get. I am going to try with 5 boxes of each - I think that will be a huge quantity and pushing it, but I am going to try...

All this talk of food memories is making me hungry for my grandmothers Shoo-Fly-Pie. Haven't had it but once since she passed away 10 years ago. Think I need to invite some people over to give me an excuse to pull that recipe card out and give it a whirl again.

On a healthier diet note: For those trying to do the low carb/high protein thing. It may sound odd but I will take Raspberry Crystal Light and mix it in Low Fat Cottage Cheese with a dab of yogurt to smooth it out a bit, with or without adding some diced fruit. Tastes similar to the fruit fluff I remember from Church potlucks as a kid, just substituting the Crystal Light for Jello mix and small quantity of yogurt for the whipped cream. Just not as "fluffy" a consistency.

It may sound weird but it does taste good and really hits the spot on those hot summer nights when all I want is something cold and sweet.

Hi, lurker here ... I too wanted to try a smaller quantity of the cereal deal. The instore promotion of buy 4 get 1 free pushes the numbers up. I ended up buying 6 reg ones for the coupons grouped by 3 and just 5 of the fiber. I still felt like a shelf cleaner and didn't like that feeling.

I tried the cucumbers with vinegar rice recipe and it was a hit at my July 4th cookout. Thanks!

Thanks for the idea - DH is doing no-carb, so I may have to try this on him. He doesn't eat cottage cheese, but I imagine I can throw a little in his lunch and see what he thinks.

Yeah, I think it will feel like a lot. I'm planning to do 5 of each, and I figure since the promo is to buy 4 get 1 free, the first 5 boxes shouldn't seem like a shock - but the other 5 may be pushing it. We'll see.
