funk funk go away come again some other day - I must go & get cereal at Tar-jay .... sigh
I was thinking about what DS7 said ----- is shopping at Kmart worth driving about 90 - 110 minutes each way (so over 3 hours round trip?) Are the deals good enough that y'all would do that?
Now I'm not the most organized of people

I think part of the reason that I *rarely* return something is that my mother was a constant returner. She's definitely addicted to shopping, and she used to then do a zillion returns (often using us kids to run in and get it done), but I think she's now graduated to hoarder status.
I think it's funny that they say Target has a lenient return policy and then show the sign that says you have to have a receipt and it be within 90 days. I don't think that's really lenient. Lenient would be accepting any return, any time, with out a receipt. Most places limit returns without receipts, and most also take ID, etc...
What?? The Today show not be completely clear or give the whole picture??? Say it isn't so!! [/sarcasm]
Seriously, though... it is annoying. It makes you wonder if every person thinks you are some scammer.
I do hate to hear/see when a couponer returns things. There *are* legit returns on coupon items, I'm sure, and there have been 2 times in my early days that I returned a couple of things because I overdid it and spent too much - and even within this past year I spent too much by going a little overboard (but didn't return because I just couldn't bring myself to do it). I figure that it's part of being responsible with your couponing and spending and learning some hard lessons. But the folks that abuse it are utterly disgusting and frustrating
That's why I thought it was irritating that they cover a piece without shedding any actual light on it. They made it sound like returning anything was a crime or a disease.

No, it's almost never worth driving that far unless you really need more BW and Deo.
I did however catch an upgraded clearance on Kohls today and bought much too much stuff.
Dia, hope you are feeling better. Hate being in funks.
FINALLY got to T to buy some cereal. I totally thought there would be none left since everyone is so damn chatty over in deals about it. Thanks sunshine for the TS3 Qs, I was able to use those for some little presents for DS's upcoming birthday.

Guess what I did tonight? Decided to run into Target (I know I said I had no desire) but Brielle wanted the stickers for the Toy Story Book and they don't have them at the ST near me. So anyway, when we left the gym we went to the reg T near there.
Have you ever thought you were in the "trainee" line but were in the "trainer" line?
Yep, brilliant one here, the end.
too much yummy food talk for this pregnant lady!!
But, I do have garden fresh tomatoes (which I've almost consumed 1/2 of already) and a ton of cukes!!! I love when folks bring in garden produce to church and say "here, take this..."
I ran out of time to go to Kmart, so I didn't do that today - but I may have a 2nd opp tomorrow. We'll see...
Didn't do T - organized some q's. But, I plan on doing 2 T runs tomorrow (maybe... and it's a huge maybe... I can fit in a 3rd...) I'm afraid I'm going to go early, so I am in "shop now" mode! *laugh* The great thing about the new Target is that I will have smaller and more concentrated runs! Hopefully it'll make it faster to shop. I guess we'll find out tomorrow.
Jealous of all the 50/75% off baby items. Ours is stuck at 15% because folks are like piranha for 15% off.

Sorry, ank - I am not a great cook, and so when something turns out so tasty, I just have to share.
How well I remember my summer pregnancy. Not fun at all. You have my deepest sympathies, dear. After having my firstborn in August, I swore I would never again be pregnant through the summer like that. So hugs to you, my friend, and may your T trips tomorrow be more successful than you dreamed!!
