Heehee, we did, too!! I decided last minute, so our "costumes" were not very inventive. I did have the kids color in their own spots, though, so it was at least a "craft". Teehee I didn't dress up this time, 'cause somehow I don't have a white summer shirt. Doh But three free kids' meals can't be beat!! And ... we met some friends from church, so my kids got to play for a good long time in the play area with their friends. Too fun.

My sisters are having the two oldest over for a sleepover tonight, which means hubby and I and the little one get to price for our yard sale!! I have pretty high hopes, 'cause it seems the weather will be at least below 90, for the first time all week, so I'm hoping that brings people out.

Off to read threads and get a headstart on pricing!

I would say the "6" guesstimate on the recipe page is probably pretty accurate - though I suppose it would be dependent on how many times one goes back for secondsWink Small box of pudding. My fave fruit combo is just as the recipe reads (mandarins and pineapple.)
yummy!!! we have a packet my grams got from one of those Tastefully simple parties that sounds very similiar. We use cream cheese, cool whip, the packet, pineapple, and mandarin oranges. So stinkin' good when it's this hot outside!!

Little Tikes Playground [littletikes.com]
Would you ladies pay $100 for this?
I found it on Craigslist looked at it tonight, and picking it up ASAP tomorrow morning.
My husband thinks I am overpaying, and I think that it is one hell of a deal...
I agree-great deal! Little Tykes holds it's value too. When you go to re-sell, you'll likely get what you paid for it!!

*sigh* Just read deals thread. We have another week of SK/FP & SB, don't we? And why is it that no one can get the whole idea of keeping their mouths shut and/or take things to PM??? Seriously, if it quit working don't you think people would be flooding the thread with "it's not a smoking deal anymore" posts??? Stress

Yeah yeah... I know... don't use logic here. It's so silly...
wha wha wha, say what!!??? this goes on next week too?!?!? shenanigans!! And I was excited to get one set for the church today Whee

Tell your Hubby that Little Tikes playground is a STFC deal!.

My kid's log cabin is still going strong. It will be 19 years old this Christmas. It now sits at DD's MIL's house for her grandson to play in.

OT,,,

I decided last week to sign up for the Biggest loser contest at my workplace. Since I know I gained at least thirty months since I have been laid off. I was shocked and almost started crying when I saw my weight, Guess it is one thing to think and convince yourself that your bathroom scale doesnt work right, But at work in the medical center. Oouch.

I took my monies that I had earmarked for a laptop and spent it on a gym membership. I know crazy that I did that. But I want to give this contest an honest try. My goal is 20 pounds in 20 weeks. I weigh MORE than I weighed when I checked in at the hospital to give birth to my kidlets. Ouch., I know I said it but still . Wow.

The horrible thing is that piece of paper states 6 more pounds I would be in the obese catergory. That is the whole reason I am in shock.

Alright, Taking a nap. Then I will shop. If anyone wants to give me a clue what to buy at Target, I will go later. Smilie PM's are welcome. Smilie

Goodluck with the weight loss! And I don't think spending your laptop money on a gym membership is stupid at all. It will be better for your health and make you feel better I am sure. Heck, losing weight is hard, I don't care what anyone says.. It is sure much easier to gain it. I know exactly how you feel. I have thyroid issues and my metabolism is so screwy. I have gained 20 pounds this year for no apparent reason. Even my DH commented that I eat less than the kids but still gain weight. Exercise is a hard thing for me, I just hate to do it. But, when I lost alot of weight a few years ago, I stayed more motivated to exercise when I went to the gym. It kept me from getting bored with a home workout. I would love to join one now, but just can't seem to fit it in my schedule with my toddler.. I have been working out at home and dieting for almost a month now.. I have been so dedicated and haven't cheated once. For me, if I cheat and have one thing I shouldn't, then I get derailed and lose track. For me it is easier to just say no to all sweet things. If I don't eat them, I don't crave them as bad.. I have lost 15 pounds.. but so many more to go!!

You can do it!

It may not be quite as good of a deal because I think the price on Fiber Plus will go up (rainchecks if your store is out!!), but I read that the Kellogg's cereals should still be 2.75 and b4g1. So yeah... more shenanigans next week! *lol*

Oh, and there's the Starbucks gift card deal, so be ready for all the "SB" confusion!!! Scrubbing bubbles GCTQ's expire on 7/20, I think... So we've got a wee bit of time left for that too. Blah!

I'm having more heartburn - uck. But, I think I've dropped a lot in the past few days too. She's been having long periods of being quiet, then all of a sudden throws a party. She's also laying funny - I think sideways even. I don't know what all she's doing in there, but it can get kind of painful at times!! Sleeping is getting rough. Nothing is comfy and I can barely move once I'm laying down! LOL. My poor hubby is having to lift or push me out of bed about 20 times a night. I've been spending most nights from about 2:30ish til 6 on the couch too.

So... that sounds like a lot of complaining... lol. But I'm getting pretty excited actually. I can't wait to meet our little girl and see who she looks like - me, dh, one of the girls... I wonder if she'll really be as big as they expect, or if she'll be little. Ah... fun.

Ok... I just mod alerted 2 people in deals because they are blatantly posting about using that damn kellogs Q wrong. I mean, the buying 50 boxes or whatever is annoying and unfortunately not mod alertable. But freakin enough already.

I think I need to have a glass of wine before I continue reading. Roll
