I got ones years back. All it is, it is a sliding sleeve over the bit. When you grab a screw, pull the sleeve up so it wont wobble or slip off, since it is magnetic.
Overall, you get a few bits, a box, and two extentions. If you use an extention a lot, it comes in handy, only because of the box. Good at keeping important tools at hand.

Not sure what reviews you are looking at but 4.6 out of 5 of over 5,700 reviewers is a very good rating. I have several of these and they work well for helping to keep screws straight especially long deck screws. It also helps to keep the bit from slipping off screw head and damaging wood, sheet metal etc. I use them all the time and recommend them. The only thing is they do wear out where the sleeve stops sliding smoothly but I'm hard on my tools (not cleaning, lubricating). I bought 4 of these cause Dewalt used to include 1 of these sliding extensions with all their bit sets but stopped for some reason.

If you're a DIY person you'll have these sleeves for years to come. If you do any kind of construction you all know they don't last. The no name brands are useless and will lose the cotter pin fairly quickly. I generally use Dewalt and in my experience they do last longer than most. I've picked this package up many times when Ace runs their specials. Usually 7 or 8 bucks.

It is slickdeal as buying just the drivers individually would set you back about $15 and you get the compact case filled with bits which is almost worth the price alone. Chinese generics cost this price for a couple of them and the Dewalts do seem to hold up much better than they do.

Depot, lowes, and even Ace is known to drop a couple of bucks lower. Maybe for father's day. Mostly for the box is it really good. It will work great for random DYI. But not Slick.
