It helped me know that the deal worked for others and may also be helpful for others wondering if it's worth having both services or not

My grocery deliveries were always wrong. I was always receiving only part of my order or someone elses order entirely. Is this a problem for others?

PSA: WM grocery purchases don't code as groceries for debit/credit card offers.

You can use the walmart app to get gas at Sams, for me Sams gas is usually cheaper than costco because they directly compete with each other.
For where I live, costco is cheaper than sams club so ymmv

0.10/gal isn't that much. For your average 15-18 gallon tank, you're talking probably talking $1.40-1.50 saved per fill up. Unless you're driving like 400 miles/week you won't make up the discount for paying for WM+
For premium gas, Sams Club (WM+ subscription allows to fill up there) is usually 50-60 cents cheaper per gallon. $5 savings each time, meaning only 10 fillups pay for the membership.

For delivery is it expected you tip the driver? It's one of the things I like about Amazon still is no tip expected

I don't tip cause I already paid the membership. Walmart wanted to compete with Amazon Prime so they should pay the drivers not us.

For me Walmart is generally cheaper for diesel than a lot of other stations. With the 10c discount it became cheaper than other stations with Upside cashback too. When my W+ was active I saved between $70-$100 in that year. So yes the $50 for a membership might not be worth if it you're only including the 10c per gallon off, however in my travels I've seen walmart or Murphy's 10-20c cheaper before discount vs nearby fuel stations. So that 10c per gallon + 5c cheaper than nearby stations and 50 gallons a month or more adds up quick for me. I didn't renew back in December because I wasn't offered 50% off membership again. At $100 for a year it's not worth it since I really only use it for fuel discounts. I've multiple walmarts I can hit up on the way home from work in the mornings. Only annoying thing about that is if I get out of work too early and Walmarts are closed until 6am.

Kind of want to do this, had an expired sub since January, but also conscious that last July they offered the same deal plus threw in a Showtime subscription on top of the Paramount+ for one day only or something like that. Decisions, decisions...

No its called walmart spark, and they can see the tip amount for the order. You can read about it on their forums where they discuss spark drivers.
Ah must be specific areas then, that isn't the case in my metro

Yes, drivers don't even read basic instructions either. They deliver to another street or 3 doors down. I'd say about 50% or more of my Doordash, Instacart, and Walmart+ orders go elsewhere or are wrong.
I've used Walmart+ trial. This statement is true... I figured out Walmart uses their own GPS map and if the driver follows that instead, it pinpoints to a completely different location... The drivers need to follow the address on file, but if they're incompetent and just rely on Walmart faulty map system, then it gets delivered to the wrong place. Walmart doesn't care to fix this... It's outrageous. I realized how bad Walmart store shipping service is.

I'm not interested in paying $50... From the trial experience, it as a nightmare with delivery and stock count, orders canceled, not getting refunds, etc. Walmart is terrible.

We're into our second year, Walmart closest to me is always out of the bulk size items that we need and so it's nice to be able to order from one that's 10 miles away and have it delivered. Are the orders wrong sometimes? Yep for sure. But the customer service folks wherever they are located seemingly are pretty good about giving back the money when the item did not make it.

My subscription was already canceled and set to expire 5/3. When I click to renew it doesn't offer the discount…

Had 88 days left on my sub and got the 50% off offer on renewal. Saves me some time hunting a deal later on. I have an Exxon station near my house so it's a no brainer for gas alone, plus all the stuff ordered on slickdeals nod

I love walmart plus especially when its discounted, I used the gas discount, burger king discount, paramount+, and free delivery very often. The home food deliveries are generally pretty good.

I don't have the cancel discount offer, I used it last year guess they don't fall for it twice.
