1) Install the mounting clips
2) Place cooler and start the screw on one side into the mounting clip
3) Loosen the other side mounting clip by a couple turns and start the other cooler screw into that side.
4) Re-tighten the mounting clip and finish tightening the cooler (going back and forth between sides).
Worked first time for me and only took a couple minutes. Basically, loosening the mounting clip on one side allows for that cooler spring screw to go in at a slight angle without a ton of pressure.

First system I built I had one of those huge ass noctua nhd15 cooler and let's just say after taking on/off that thing a billion times to get to an ssd slot, ram, or fan header.. Putting this arctic freezer was a breeze.. Lol pun intended.
Downloading Fan Control and setting up all the fans was fun too. I've got it set so that it's actually quiet just like an air cooler.
Lol but as soon as it hits a certain temp it just goes full blast mode like a jet engine.

Still seeing some reviews saying it is difficult to install....
1) Install the mounting clips
2) Place cooler and start the screw on one side into the mounting clip
3) Loosen the other side mounting clip by a couple turns and start the other cooler screw into that side.
4) Re-tighten the mounting clip and finish tightening the cooler (going back and forth between sides).

The most you'd have to deal with is a mess.
The fans should perform the same if the base specs are the same.
The RGB ones just have extra wires for lighting.
If there's conductive particles in your case, then they would be there even before liquid is an issue.
Dust in the air is very minimally resistive. It requires a pretty high voltage and a lot of particles to cause an issue.
But if you want to be cautious, you could always run a 24hr leak test outside of the case before installing it (just piggyback off power somewhere and let it run). If there's no leaks in 24hrs, it's mechanically sound enough to use. These AiOs are very well sealed, because the whole point is that you can't take them apart to service or upgrade them.

I meant what I said, there's a difference. They both have aggressive fan blades but if you look at the images you'll see the RGB version has an outer ring connecting all the blades so they're more rigid. The extra weight makes them better in some ways and worse in others. They don't get to speed as fast and there's a little more noise, and in a lot of tests it shows there being a difference despite what the specs say. They're 100% different.
All jokes aside, it was certain scenarios where they're better but that's just the fan. For radiator use I'm not sure what benefit one has over the other. I did the research when building my friend's PC and I randomly came across the info. His is built with all P12 RGB's & Freezer III 360 RGB because that's his thing. My PC has no window and nothing but the best cooling fans ($10 5 pack of Thermalright's).
