  • Contact Frame for Intel LGA1851 | LGA1700: Optimized contact pressure distribution for a longer CPU lifespan and better heat dissipation
  • More performance at every speed – especially more powerful and quieter than the P12 at low speeds. Higher maximum speed for optimal cooling performance under high loads
  • Native Offset Mounting For Intel and AMD: Shifting the cold plate center toward the CPU hotspot ensures more efficient heat transfer
  • Integrated VRM Fan: PWM-controlled fan that lowers the temperature of the voltage regulators, ensuring reliable performance
  • Integrated Cable Management: The PWM cables of the radiator fans are integrated into the sleeve of the tubes, so only a single visible cable connects to the motherboard

After finding an install trick in the reviews it was really easy.

1) Install the mounting clips
2) Place cooler and start the screw on one side into the mounting clip
3) Loosen the other side mounting clip by a couple turns and start the other cooler screw into that side.
4) Re-tighten the mounting clip and finish tightening the cooler (going back and forth between sides).

Worked first time for me and only took a couple minutes. Basically, loosening the mounting clip on one side allows for that cooler spring screw to go in at a slight angle without a ton of pressure.
Obligatory: this is a fantastic AIO with solid (in my personal experience) support from the manufacturer. But they use thicc boi™ radiators. Make sure it will fit in your chassis.

Been using it with a 7950x3d. Lol probably overkill for that but I really wanted an aio instead of an air cooler so I can easily get to the components like the ssds, ram, etc if I had to.

First system I built I had one of those huge ass noctua nhd15 cooler and let's just say after taking on/off that thing a billion times to get to an ssd slot, ram, or fan header.. Putting this arctic freezer was a breeze.. Lol pun intended.

Downloading Fan Control and setting up all the fans was fun too. I've got it set so that it's actually quiet just like an air cooler.

Lol but as soon as it hits a certain temp it just goes full blast mode like a jet engine.

Terrified of leaks in my 5090 build. Do they cover damage to my other parts if their aio leaks?

It keeps my 9800x3d super cool. The hooks that locks the plate to the CPU bracket gave me a little trouble, but I finally got it latched on after a few attempts (30 minutes). It's not going anywhere now. I would still highly recommend this.
It's interesting, I read a lot about issues with the AMD socket on the LiquidFreezer series and was a bit worried about it. I just built a new system in the past 2 months with a 9800x3d as well and have a Liquid Freezer III 280mm, and I didn't have any issues at all. I don't know if they tweaked the design recently, but mine was no problem.

Still seeing some reviews saying it is difficult to install....

A bit overkill for my setup, but the non-RGB Arctic keeps my 5700X3D cool. I think I read something about the RGB fans being better for something but I'm sure the difference is minimal. It works great.

I built a 7800X3D system for a friend using the RGB version of this, I didn't have any difficulty so I'm not sure what ppl are talking about

The fluid used in these isn't electrically conductive, if that's what you're worried about.

The most you'd have to deal with is a mess.

Once it leaves the loop it gets contaminated so I thought it is conductive once it leaks

Are you making a racing stripe joke about the lights adding performance?

The fans should perform the same if the base specs are the same.

The RGB ones just have extra wires for lighting.

Contaminated with what?

If there's conductive particles in your case, then they would be there even before liquid is an issue.

Dust in the air is very minimally resistive. It requires a pretty high voltage and a lot of particles to cause an issue.

But if you want to be cautious, you could always run a 24hr leak test outside of the case before installing it (just piggyback off power somewhere and let it run). If there's no leaks in 24hrs, it's mechanically sound enough to use. These AiOs are very well sealed, because the whole point is that you can't take them apart to service or upgrade them.

Reddit has unfortunately devolved into a mixed bag when it comes to tangential anecdotes over actual knowledge, ever since a younger crowd came in and turned it into another social media site.

All the brain rot from YouTubers like LTT doesn't help either, since anything they say becomes gospel that ends up on Reddit.

It's sad, but knowledge is no longer free on the internet. It all requires fact checking.

Reviews look great. to stay brand loyal I just paid about 200 more for an Asus Ryuo iii. Ugh.... Either way I'm sold on AIOs. If I didn't have the Asus I'd jump on this.

Are you making a condescending joke about an obviously different design not having different results?

I meant what I said, there's a difference. They both have aggressive fan blades but if you look at the images you'll see the RGB version has an outer ring connecting all the blades so they're more rigid. The extra weight makes them better in some ways and worse in others. They don't get to speed as fast and there's a little more noise, and in a lot of tests it shows there being a difference despite what the specs say. They're 100% different.

All jokes aside, it was certain scenarios where they're better but that's just the fan. For radiator use I'm not sure what benefit one has over the other. I did the research when building my friend's PC and I randomly came across the info. His is built with all P12 RGB's & Freezer III 360 RGB because that's his thing. My PC has no window and nothing but the best cooling fans ($10 5 pack of Thermalright's).
