Passsssss
There are 14" inch laptops that weigh more than this.
If you want something that is really light, don't bother opening a post that says 16".

Never got hot for casual MS Office use, browsing, YT / Netflix, etc. Battery is crazy good, I get at least 14+ hrs of use.
I didn't get it to game - I have a desktop for that. But just to see what it can do, I installed Just Case 4 (yes, an older title) and it ran surprisingly well. Cyberpunk was oughkay at min settings and did better than I expected but my expectations were low anyway. And yes with the power connected during CP2077 - it started getting warm but I don't game on my lap tho
- and you shouldn't either if you're a guy and want kids someday
It's NOT a gaming laptop no matter how you look at it. But if you want two full work days of use on battery - it will do that. I'm happy I can go to a coffee shop and not have to carry the power plug. I would buy it again in a heart beat, especially for anything less than $850.
Hopefully not I don't want to pay extra for a nintendo game card.

Yes it feels cheap... But speaking as a travel consultant that travels a lot, they live up to their military grade toughness.
I have owned 4 going back to 2013 (I get to expense a new laptop every 2 years).
LG also has a right to repair philosophy and you can buy spare parts off of Alibaba very cheap.
I once had water spilled on a gram, I was able to buy a replacement keyboard from Alibaba for $30 and swap it myself, there was no glue inside the case, that laptop lasted 6 more years even as a hand-me-down to my high school aged niece.
I don't game on my gram but have never really had any heat issues.
I did own a Asus zen book in 2012 the case used to flex so much when I typed on my lap the track pad wouldn't work ...

I had a gram. Hinge cracked in less than 3 years with no drops. This is Zenbook S not Zenbook. This is about as premium as it gets. It's also extremely thin.
