3.2 Gen1 (1x1) is 5Gbps, previously known has USB 3.1 Gen 1, previously known as USB 3.0

most of the USB 3.2 devices (especially things like SSD enclosures) are USB 3.2 2X1 that is 10Gbps, previously known as USB 3.1 Gen 2.

and then you got some high speed nvme device (pretty much anything claims 2000Mbps or above) runs on USB 3.2 2X2 at 20Gbps.

so if you happen to own one of those fast nvme, this cable only get you 25% of the speed it is capable of. but if you just gonna use as charging cable or some USB 5Bbps like M/K. then sure.

That is Otterbox for you. Inflate MSRP and when discounted, not selling, discontinued, or whatever it shows a big discount/savings.

Not bad of a deal but never experience these cable before only their cases. Also, make sure the right angle part can clear your current case for your phone if you intend to use the right angle part to connect to your phone. That right angle body is thick.

Are these any good? There's a one pack on Amazon for 25 bucks with no reviews. The ones without the right angle are between $25 and $30 each, with decent reviews but still I don't think these are $25 cables.

Word.

My 5-6 year old iPad Pro is in a Logitech Keyboard Case and I bought some e-chipped or whatever they're called high wattage USB C cables recently and being very careful and really applying some effort I can just barely get the cable to plug into the iPad thru the case opening because the plastic ends of these modern cables are so much thicker than they used to be.

This doesn't seem too bad for usb 3 cables, assuming the quality is decent...

This is a 100W cable, its main use case is for powering a device such as a laptop not transmitting data, though it's no slouch at transmitting its not the absolute fastest. Make sure you get the right tool for the job.

I assure you these are higher quality cables than any $3 Thunderbolt4 Cable....just my .02c! :-) They do fit perfectly with OtterBox cases just make sure you can use the 90 degree portion. I've owned OtterBox cables for years they last and last...I still have my first USB C OtterBox Cable and it works great!

It's funny, because I technically know all this but can never remember it without looking it up to reference.

I thought I was just getting dumb, but reading out your comment makes me realize its just confusing and its normal to not keep track of this. I'm just dumb for other reasons.
