With all due respect, let's try to be less fixated on "BOGO". It truly doesn't matter if it says "BOGO". TWO footlongs (that can cost as much as $30 depending upon the sandwich and your location) for $12.99 is BETTER than a BOGO! Go for two "Beast" footlongs (for example), and you'll see what I mean. Even if the sandwich costs less ($13 for example), you're paying $6.50 each! What more can you expect these days?
The BIGGER challenge is to find the 1 out of 50 locations that accept the codes/coupons!

Agreed, product and price are the only things that are important. If you get bogged down in discount amounts or buy this get that or even branding, you're being psychologically manipulated.

What am I getting and how much am I paying for it? That's it.

You don't need the app. You can just log into their website and use the code. Also I still get the flyer with these coupons and the coupons list the code for online orders. Now if your Subway accepts them is another matter, but it ain't McD's only offering deals on the app.

Not sure if you're normally able to use multiple coupons, but I was able to get the free nachos today and use another of the codes in 1 order. Had to buy a full price fl to get the nachos though.

I used the coupon FOOTLONG699 on the app and asked for extra veggies, on pretty much everything. Instead of adding veggies, they only gave like one leaf of spinach, a couple of olives, etc. I complained on the subway website and got a "sorry you had a bad experience email". I then sent another complaint asking to be refunded or given a sub. Finally someone local sent me an email saying they'll physically mail me a couple. That never happened. What has happened to customer service these days??? It seems like subways are pissed at you if you use a coupon.

Nope, they definitely cancelled my order and said they lose money on every coupon. I could complain to corporate and force it through but I'm not going to make the manager's job at a failing franchise harder than it already is.

Corporate's hands would be tied because it would be under the clause "at participating locations."

My Subway account was hacked. I was even willing to give them information on the individual because I just barely missed catching him in the act. I was able to call up the Subway franchise in VA and was told the manager would get back with me to catch the guy. No response from the franchise and corporate just sent an email stating, "Change your password." If it was not a password problem, then how did the guy hack my account in the first place?

And yes, they usually have you fight it out with the franchise. Corporate does not want that kind of publicity. Even under Gavin Newsom and the minimum wage, they basically wanted him to state that the corporation would not be held liable and it would be a penalty on the franchises if they did not raise wages. Pretty cool how corporations can get out of things.

There is a deal in the McDonald's app right now YMMV, where you can get a double cheeseburger or 6 pc mcnugget BOGO with purchase of a double cheeseburger or 6 pc mcnugget. I think that individual's comment STANDS!

I don't get it! If the app/website accepted the coupon code, then that particular franchise accepts coupons! Period, end of story! If they canceled the order, then they're breaking the rules! You/everyone that has this same type of experience needs to contact customer service (or the corporate office, which is even better) and complain about locations that are pulling this crap!

However....fair warning to everyone reading this!....DON'T place an order WITHOUT a coupon code and then expect them to apply the discount at the location! They won't! AND....if they're not accepting coupon codes online, then they're not accepting paper coupons either! If the location that you've chosen accepts the coupon code online, then they CAN'T cancel your order!
If they do, then it MUST be reported!
