It's okay for screen to have burn in shadow, discoloration and deep scratches.
I haven't traded in a broken screen to Google before.

I sent in one that was cracked pretty bad and got a full credit, but the screen still functioned.

Just make sure you choose "No" for free of defects, cracks, etc. 6a is $83 vs $165, so not worth getting it fixed before trading in.
