You get what you pay for.
You can buy this phone for more without the requirements.
If they did not require this some folks would buy dozens to resell (which I have no exact issue with other than it make such a deal impossible to offer)
Decide for yourself.
It's really no different from walking into T-mobile and signing a contract to get a 'free' or subsidized iphone. They take your id there.

The iphone X (2017) is "vintage" now, but the XS and XR from 2018 is still officially supported. The 13 is from 21 and has the same chip as 14 from 22.
with so many of these basically free phone/service deals that pop up...i don't even see myself caring about how long a phone is supported anymore. odds are i'll use this phone 1-1.5 years and then we will start seeing similar deals for the 15. sell the 13 for $100 and move on to the next phone.
i like seeing the phones as temporary/disposable because despite having a slightly older phone you get a new battery. also kinda like having "free" insurance because you aren't paying much for the phones so not as huge of a deal if lost or damaged.
2. It seems infimobile is not in the "port in from" drop list, any experience from infimobile to total?

Shouldn't be any reason to verify a second time since they keep verification info for several weeks. Once order has actually shipped sometimes you can log in to the website & activate it online, then you can order the 2nd.
