The other thing to note - these are bootloader LOCKED which doesn't seem like a big deal, but running "stock" retail US unlocked firmware is a lot better than the MVNO ones.
Basically if you buy this phone from best buy or moto direct etc - you get a "RET US" firmware (Retail USA). If you buy it from a provider like Total - you get an MVNO firmware that has a bunch of loaded bloatware, and your updates are tied to the total wireless / mvno chain, as opposed to the basic non bloated firmware chain.
You can use different sims/carriers no problem - but you will still have Total Wireless bloat and firmware.
