I just tried the active mold stain remover goop.

It does work but takes 3-5 hours. It works for a specific spot like the mildew stain on your front loader washer or a corner tile on the bathroom that's hard to scrub.

You have to put a thick glop on or it won't work. So it's not practical to do a whole lot.
