These are unscented, unlike some others.
They do leave some sticky residue on your fingers if you touch the glue.
You can cut each trap into 4 smaller pads. This is what I do.

It's just glue, but very very sticky. If they get into it, scissors and peanut butter time. Otherwise no issue.
