The vapormax plus is undefeated for walking. I could work 14hrs and my feet would be fine lol. Never found another sneaker as good. The air max plus were good back in the day.

I've been using the Nike Motiva. It has a super soft and thick outsole; it's the softest shoe I've ever worn. The Promina posted here has a significantly harder outsole. Trying them on, one on each foot, is like night and day in terms of softness. I wear the Motiva while standing at work and I go hours pain free.

I have not tried the Vapormax Plus, but now I'm really curious!

Would you say the Motiva are better for standing instead of walking? I need to replace my walking shoes soon. These would be used for walking ~22 miles weekly on sidewalk and paved trails.

I use the Motiva for walking and running too (just ran 3 miles yesterday in them). Zero issues and zero pain. I own two pairs atm and am always considering getting a third (at the right price). I paid full price for my all black pair and have zero regrets.

Thank you! I'm trying to find a local store with the Motiva so I can figure out the best size.

I've warn Air Max / Vapormax for a few years, just wish they weren't so expensive. Currently looking at the Air Max Dn8, but would also like a daily shoe for walking that's cheaper. Skechers are also great for walking though they're very weak in terms of style.

What makes a walking shoe a walking shoe vs. a running shoe or any other kind of shoe?

Anyone know how the fit runs on them? Not a lot of reviews on them.
