This is a really good price when you consider that it is an Apples and Oranges comparison with regular butter. This is a European style, which has more solids and less water, thus you are getting more actual butter solids and not filler. Plus the cows graze on grass and not GMO feed so the quality is better than typical American butter.

I love Kerrygold, but recently wanted to try all the other "good" butters I could find at my local stores to see how they stacked up. I searched online for what people thought was better than Kerrygold, but to be honest, none of them came close. The best that I found was Westgold, but that still didn't compare to Kerrygold. Kerrygold is the GOAT. I'm sure there are better European butters out there, but for something easy to find in the US and somewhat reasonably priced, Kerrygold can't be beat.

I wouldn't trust anything coming from EU. Have you personally watched those cows graze?

where do you buy French butter? I haven't seen any at any normal stores, but would be interested in trying it. I think Kerrygold is the best that is readily available in the US
